Well it seems it was pretty close ...Hiya again Wiz

Well it seems it was pretty close to home as they have now arrested the Landlord on suspicion of murder and removed many items for testing from his flat.

If he really is the killer, I am very sorry for suspecting her boyfriend, but it certainly did seem like it was someone who had access to the flat given there was no sign of any breakin and also very unlikely she would leave that flat, alive, without taking her keys, mobile and perhaps most importantly given the temperature, her coat. I still do not get what happened to the Pizza!

Let us hope there is a quick resolution to this for the sake of the family and her boyfriend!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13507323081802465917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8388977942755921926.post-3782841912033074612010-12-28T16:49:26.148+00:002010-12-28T16:49:26.148+00:00Hmmm and David Payne has been named as a "wit...Hmmm and David Payne has been named as a "witness" in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

It is interesting one witness saw someone in the area, who was pretty fit hopping over a fence. I imagine a landscape architect would be pretty adept at hopping over fences. Did he move the body from a more wooded area to make sure it was found? Was he touched by the terrible agony of her parents, not knowing where there daughter was?

It makes you wonder what he was a witness to, given he claims he was not there at the relevant time, just like Kate and Gerry do. Clearly the police know different to that!

I could be wrong but I still think this was a domestic argument, gone horribly wrong.

Sky News

Police have confirmed Joanna Yeates, whose snow-covered body was found by dog walkers on Christmas Day, died after being strangled.

A murder investigation is now underway after the landscape architect's body was earlier identified by her parents David, 63, and Theresa, 58, who made an emotional visit to the site where she was discovered.

Speaking at a press conference at midday, Detective Chief Inspector Phil Jones, who is leading the murder probe, said a post-mortem examination showed Miss Yeates died from "compression to the neck - in other words strangulation".

He offered "heartfelt condolences" to Miss Yeates' family and urged anyone with information to contact police.

Miss Yeates' boyfriend Gregory Reardon was a witness in the investigation, he said, and he confirmed Miss Yeates was fully clothed when she was found.

The 25-year-old's snow-covered body was found by dog walkers in a quiet lane just three miles from her home in Clifton, Bristol, on Christmas morning.

But the frozen condition of her corpse meant pathologists could not immediately examine it - leaving detectives and family members waiting to find out the cause of her death.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13507323081802465917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8388977942755921926.post-81625048959277295042010-12-27T13:07:00.331+00:002010-12-27T13:07:00.331+00:00Oh lol Wiz me too, how to leave all those lovely c...Oh lol Wiz me too, how to leave all those lovely chocolates alone for another day!

I notice the police are saying they want to provide the answers the parents desperately need to hear, no mention of him.

Additionally he had not gone to his parents but to his "half brother".

There is something extremely odd about a young couple that apparently work together and yet, she goes on foot for drinks with work colleagues and has to walk home in the freezing cold. On the way she is phoning to arrange further drinks with a friend on Christmas Eve. Not quite the devoted loving relationship he would have us believe. Why was he not with her and making sure she rode in the nice warm car, is that something he is wanting to avoid mentioning?

Sometimes the "love" in an adult relationship or between parent and child leaves a lot to be desired. Enter the fantasy stranger to apparently explain a bizarre disappearance. Not that this actually works with inquisitive police officers or astute members of the public.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13507323081802465917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8388977942755921926.post-55250460534343631362010-12-27T08:51:20.382+00:002010-12-27T08:51:20.382+00:00Hi Viv,

Back on the diet today – groan.

I totally agree with your opinion over Reardon it really does seem he must be number one in the frame. I would be very surprised if the police haven’t come to the same conclusion. The autopsy is today so it will depend on the cause and time of death.

I remember some years ago having a chat with our local Borough Commander – this was after two murders in one week in the borough. He said he had spent all week talking to individuals charged with the separate murders who professed to ‘love’ their victims. Unfortunately, this often seems to be the case rather than a lone serial killer, or paedophile abductor – it’s normally closer to home - despite what we read in fiction.Wizardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13647410173508843374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8388977942755921926.post-34149786207412473672010-12-26T18:52:25.188+00:002010-12-26T18:52:25.188+00:00Wiz, I would not be surprised if Reardon was not a...Wiz, I would not be surprised if Reardon was not already in custody, it certainly seems such an open and shut case.

I wonder if he is the rather jealous and possessive type. She came home late following a drink with work colleagues. Did that annoy him and how so given they apparently work together?

I wonder if she got the Pizza because she was not playing the role of dutiful wife and needed to go back with something instant for dinner. Did he lose it, and take her and the pizza, dump her at the side of the road and then eat his dinner? Prior to scampering off to his parents to create an alibi. No wonder British Police feel that finding that is so important to this case. If they find any trace of that near him...

I do not believe it is the least bit normal for a young couple to not only be alone but out of mobile phone contact for the whole weekend as he claims. Also many noted how he was already speaking of her in the past tense, he knew she was dead.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13507323081802465917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8388977942755921926.post-62554963078124831832010-12-26T18:45:12.712+00:002010-12-26T18:45:12.712+00:00Hiya Wiz
Good observations that "family"...Hiya Wiz

Good observations that "family" will often feel the need to continue to deny the undeniable rather than admit the terrible reality feeling that reflection on them. I have no doubt Trish and Sandy Cameron were extremely loving relatives to little Madeleine and it would be great if they could just do the best thing for her and the twins.

It does not really make sense that Kate and Gerry looked so carefree and well in the months immediately following Madeleine's disappearance but now, years later, seem really ill and affected by that. The only way it makes sense is to appreciate it is that closing web, that failure of all their expensive PR campaigns/legal bullying campaigns that makes them ill.
What ever convinced these two odd balls they could not only dispose of their little girl, but could insist they are innocent and become millionaires? I think the ego and determination of Gerry McScam.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13507323081802465917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8388977942755921926.post-4635852521410065922010-12-26T09:34:34.254+00:002010-12-26T09:34:34.254+00:00People often believe the unacceptable behaviour of...People often believe the unacceptable behaviour of close family members reflects on them and the rest of the family. They will see attacks on that family member as attacks on themselves and will defend the erstwhile member to the hilt. It is easier and more acceptable to believe their family member when they plead innocence.

Patricia Cameron says, ‘Gerry is the baby of the family. I feel very protective and it hurts me to see him looking so tired.’

Well this may be true, but she is not going to ‘wake up' to the reality about her baby brother it reflects badly on the whole of her family. Even if her brother was arrested, charged and found guilty she would still profess his innocence along with him.

Yesterday reality set in for the parents of Joanna Yeates, the missing architect and all thoughts of abductors have gone. A body has been found and presumed to be hers.

It was interesting to read Reardon, the boyfriend, reported her missing on Sunday night after returning home to their flat, from a weekend away in Sheffield visiting ‘family.’ Hmm…Wizardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13647410173508843374noreply@blogger.com
