Sympathy for McCann copy cats turns to rage

This is the couple who told the

world their little girl was

 "taken from her bed".

Now where did I hear that before?

RIP little one xxx and keep looking

over your shoulder Messrs McScam.

Let us continue to hope there will be closure for little
Maddie and her parents /others involved brought to
justice in the very near future for whatever grave
crimes they committed against her.

Couple charged with murdering young girl

A couple has been charged with murder in a major development in the case of a missing Sydney girl.
SHE is the woman who stood by Kristi Abrahams and Robert Smith in the dark days after Kiesha went missing.
She shielded them from unwanted attention and defended them at every opportunity.
But yesterday Alison Anderson led a vigilante group yelling abuse that chased a police vehicle carrying the charged parents.
For the past nine months, Kiesha's disappearance has consumed Ms Anderson.
She has hosted candlelight vigils in the little girl's honour, set up Facebook pages to keep her name in people's minds and fed each tiny detail she had to police, hoping it would lead to a breakthrough.
"I said from the day she went missing that I would fight for that little girl and I have done that the best I could," Ms Anderson said.
She was once a close friend of Abrahams, having met her when they lived in the same suburb. The day Kiesha was reported missing, and whispers began spreading thick and fast that the child's parents might have been responsible, Ms Anderson refused to believe it.
"[But] the thing that upset me the most was that they never once went out and looked for her," she said.
Outside Mt Druitt police station, Ms Anderson led a group of locals who screamed abuse at the couple as they were taken to a nearby court.
"I wish I could have said it to their faces," she said.
The arrests heralded closure for a western Sydney community desperate for answers. As police scoured under debris and fallen branches at what is alleged to be Kiesha's burial site, dozens made the lengthy trek into the bush to farewell Kiesha and pay their respects.
It was a good 90 minute walk though rugged terrain, but for these folk, it was a journey they wanted to make.
"We aren't here to spectate, we are here to pay our respects to that little girl," Caron Simpson said.
"People might think strange of us, but we have followed this case day-by-day for nine months, and we deserve to see the end too."
One father said: "Kiesha has been lying in here for all that time, and we had no idea."
Back in Hebersham, at the white fence that has become a shrine to Kiesha, people came to pay their respects. A group had organised for a candlelight vigil to be held for Kiesha's birthday last night - no one expecting it would be the same day her remains were found.
"I think it's about time," one of the women said.
"It's Good Friday, it's her birthday and something good happened today."

Just ahead of the launch of Kate McScams book where she no doubt posits her bizarre theories as to what happened to Madeleine, this really could not come at a worse time for he. Serves you right lady, there is a natural and inexplicable form of justice for innocent little children. YOU need to learn that.

Arrests that put an end to theories

FROM the very first day Kiesha Abrahams was reported missing, the theories surrounding her disappearance abounded.

Some speculated she had been abducted by a childless couple desperate for a little girl.

Others told police she might have followed stray cats into the street and wandered off with them - into the clutching hands of a paedophile.

Overt the past nine months, theories about what happened to the cute six-year-old have been both varied and fanciful, yet every claim, no matter how bizarre, has been thoroughly investigated.

Investigation head Detective Inspector Russell Oxford said that police had taken literally thousands of statements from people and followed up just as many leads and theories into her disappearance.

Police had been contacted with theories by psychics, family members of Abrahams and Smith, community do-gooders carrying out their own investigations and even people interstate claiming to know something important.

Investigators were led into bushland by psychics claiming to "have a feeling" about where her body was buried.

Other mediums insisted the girl's remains lay at the bottom of a western Sydney dam, causing police to drain water in multiple locations.

One popular theory was that the little girl had been taken by a childless couple desperate to raise a child.

Or, perhaps, she was taken for a more sinister purpose.

Sex offenders on a Sydney-wide registry have all been contacted by police as part of the investigation.

This followed theories that Kiesha had been taken by a sexual predator.

Now there is just one theory that matters - the police case against Kiesha's parents.

Just like the PJ, as the disappearance was such a mystery, every single "lead", no matter how fanciful, had to be investigated. Kate and Gerry McCann played upon this, determined to add to the Portuguese workload and with it the ocnfusion. At the same time Gerry told of how the Fund he so promptly set up "has enabled us to get a really good team of lawyers together" (in a hard hitting "first interview" with Jane Hill BBC available on this blog) That is bound to be the first thought on the mind of any innocent parent whose child has been stolen, I am sure. At that stage Gerry was not so used to anticipating and controlling the questions he may be asked, so the truth just popped out!

From reading the reports, it does not seem clear at this stage, what caused the police to go and search that area of the bush, nine months later.

But they clearly have intelligence to immediately link the mother and step father as they were promptly arrested and even charged ahead of even the skeletal remains being analysed. They also seem to believe that Kiesha may have been dead for days, prior to her being reported, ahem, "missing" by her mother and step father.

Hi Viv,

This sad case I think is linked more closely to what happened to MBM than any the McCanns wish to associate with. There was inevitability about what happened to Keisha Abraham’s and the police conclusions.

It would be interesting to see why the police looked for remains where they did. It’s a pity a certain duo doesn’t ‘fess up and tell us what they did with Madeleine.

Hi Wizard

Totally agree, I keep hoping somone will get a conscience but they all seem hard as nails.

I posted on the new thread about The suspicions of Mr Wicher. I wondered whether you thought it was a good adaptation of the book as I know you have read it?

Hi Di,

'The suspicions of Mr Wicher' was something I wanted to watch but had to go out.

I'm going to have a look at it on iplayer.

The problem I have with these catch-up tv web sites is the slow download. It usually ends up with the sound track running in real time and the pictures running 10secs behind, which rather spoils the programme.

ITV is the worse it works ok up until the first set of ads then goes into free fall.

Unfortunately in my area we can't get faster downloads its very slow.

I'll let you know what I think when I've seen it.
