Contradictions of Kate and Gerry

From Diario 5.8.08

Contradictions of Kate and Gerry Young said details on the different night when the child disappeared. Parents zangaram (argued I think!) up the night before the disappearance of Maddie and Kate slept in the child's bedroom By: Claudia Lima da Costa / and Patricia "Lawyer of McCann sees no reason to prosecute State " (better shut up then Clarence or do you know better than the lawyers??) Kate insists she never touched the windows but only her fingerprints..They do not want to explain why they argued and Kate slept alone on 2 May, I have a feeling it would be to do with all those bruises she was sporting and his interest in others (adults) /himself more than her!

"Maddie: the tracks unfulfilled The McCann gave contradictory versions about the facts of the night of the disappearance of Madeleine, in particular, regarding some details of his daughter. Also a zanga(argument) on May 2 is described by the couple in a different way. The behaviour of parents was examined by the Judicial Police, that a certain height, in the course of research, qualifies as strange.

One of the main contradictions in the testimony of McCann, which took place in early September, is the way the daughter was lying down that night: Kate ensures that left Madeleine obscured, under the blankets. (The pictures of Maddie's bed do not seem to show that it had been slept in, it is just turned back) In turn, Gerry gives a contrary information: when was seeing children, before leaving for dinner, says that he saw Madeleine lying on the left side, totally destapada: lying on top of colcha with manta and with the plush turn .
Never mexeu in the window: fingerprints contradict The fingerprints contradict the testimony of Kate McCann: the mother ensures that never opened even saw the window blinds of the fourth Maddie raised from the day we arrived at the Praia da Luz, however, the only fingerprints found in the window are Kate. The sleep habits of the Madeleine are not counted by parents equally. Gerry said in testimony that the date of disappearance, the child slept well. However, in 2006, created the habit of twice a week, agreed by the 23h-24h and go to their parents' room. In turn, and despite assume that the daughter had problems with sleep, Kate ensures that it raised between 2 am and 3 am. The zanga of Kate and Gerry Kate will not have liked the way it dealt with Gerry on May 2, on the eve of Maddie disappear. This was acknowledged and described by the six days in September, when it was heard in the Judiciary of Portimao. On May 2, after dinner at Tapas, the group of friends Tuesday will be directed to the bar in the same area of restoration. Allegedly Gerry ignored Kate and she does not like. You have chosen to sleep in one quarter of children in retaliation. While admitting that even if deitou next to the husband, turned out to raise and spend the night in the fourth of the children. It is recalled that the possibility of there having been a zanga between the couple is placed by Gonçalo Amaral, the first time that vai apartment to the beach of Light, May 4, and is facing the layout and details of the rooms, which describes in his book "Maddie the truth of lies". Gerry after day September 7, confirmed the incident and admits that the night before the disappearance, Kate slept in the child's bedroom, held in bed to the window. However, says it is unable to specify the reason, suggesting only that the blame would usually resonate. The strange behaviour of McCann The inspector appointed to liaison between Police and the Judicial couple McCann describes, in the process of the case 'Maddie' strange behavior of parents, especially after the diligence of dogs British experts, who identified the corpse in apartment odor. There are complaints about the PJ give more importance to other avenues than the possibility of abduction: the reaction of Kate, when it is notified to come to the Judiciary in September, was even questioning whether the PJ was not being pressured by the government to stop with the investigation, and that their parents and journalists would think of the situation. Or even the stubbornness of Gerry deliver in this inspector letters and e-mails, which received from people with mental capacities and mediums, with information on the disappearance of Maddie, and that he had selected. Without evidence that the couple McCann has committed any crime, the MP decided to close the case. On July 21, Kate and Gerry, along with Robert Murat, views raised the status of accused.

Good morning Viv et al -

It seems there was more going on the night of the 2nd than meets the eye! No wonder Kate failed to answer all those questions!

Also 'the strange behaviour of the McCanns after the diligence of the dogs'! I'm sure they would have been in complete agreement with the dogs if the scent of a predator had been found along with Madeleine's!

With so many inconsistencies in their and their tapas pals' stories, I can't understand why none of them have been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. Difficult to prove though I guess.

They must all be wallowing in their good fortune!

However, the wheel turns and one day it will stop in their direction, if there is any justice in this world, and most especially for Madeleine.

Good morning Nancy!

And to think that this is only the tip of the iceberg of descrepancies too. Viv is certain that things are moving in the investigation that we are not getting to hear about so let's hope that there will be Justice for Madeleine, eventually and that wheel will turn in the right direction.

It's a grey, wet morning here, again. Hope it's nicer where you are! :)

ST's site solely consists of rants and raves about bloggers on here!

If they find as as despicable as they say, then why are they so desperate to reprint everything we say verbatim?

Thursday, 21 August 2008 17:51:00 o'clock BST

I wonder if the above is an example of leading the hunt in searching for..?

Dylan,

I hope there is an investigation going on we are not aware of. Otherwise, imo, it sends out the message that children are disposable.

dylan said...

Hiya Zodiac!

Yes it does, doesn't it?! It sends out the message that if you are middle class, with high connections, you can go ahead and neglect your children because the law can't touch you!

These two should have been made an example of, IMO, nevertheless, I think they made an example of themselves when the files were made public!

I haven't heard a single person say that they think they did the right thing by going out and leaving their infants alone, apart from those on blogs and from pink spin. I have heard others say that they found the constant denial that Maddie had been hurt, strange and suspicious!

If they are innocent, they should go back to Portugal and ask to see the evidence again that indicates the death in the appartment. The fact that the Mcs have constantly refused to see this evidence for what it is, is fishier than Opus' breakfast!

BT if you are around, please post something. We are worrying!

Hello all. Sorry I haven't been around for a wee while, but what with the new term and all, it's been really busy. I am still watching though, and Viv is right. Things are happening, they're just not obvious.

In case anyone is wondering where the 3A's is today, no big conspiracy theory - sorry. It's nothing more than a server problem and we'll be back in a couple of hours.

I thought I'd go over to check out ST's while I had some quiet time with no forum to mod, but I can see from the above that it's not gotten any better,so I'm not bothering now :) :) :)

Hello to anyone still around!

Dylan,

'is fishier than Opus' breakfast!'

I agree.

It just goes from daft to dafter with the excuses from the OS. Yes children were probably left outside shops while the parent/carer shopped inside, it does not make it right even if it did happen in the dark ages, it is especially not right to leave the child there whilst you return home thinking what have I forgot bread, cakes ....er um...oh the baby...well should we be really surprised by that, after all Tapas and wine...mmm...child care....mmmm...yummy...Tapas and wine it is. As for laughing about it later well the balcony image and church exit on the birthday spring to mind there was lots of laughing and smiling there after the event. I think any caring parent would be ashamed of their actions even if they were sleep deprived. It sounds a bit like the holiday camp baby listening service of yonks ago, excuse they churned out on the DE way back. They had a cheek to post from wiki about you falling asleep for a second whilst feeding. They really are so far up their own @rs*s. I do hope Viv and ROTB are right regarding further investigation.

Just realised the church photos are below the comments section of this thread. Wonder if that is what RP's looked like after returning home from the shops realising she was minus her wean. Well I will make the exception if the person holding the buch of yellow flowers with the stupid eejit look on the face was her wean way back I can understand her leaving the ugger there.

Hi All,
The argument on the night of 2nd May makes me wonder. Gerry says he can’t remember what it was about and Kate says he was ignoring her at dinner that evening and this caused the argument. Kate also tells us when she went to bed in the children’s room Gerry was already asleep. This could all be just an argument as Kate suggests but seeds of doubt are sown in my mind as Gerry says he can’t remember what it was about. Does he drink so heavily he can’t remember things, according to Kate he went to sleep as soon as his head hit the pillow could this also be the result of too much alcohol? Could Viv’s suggestion that he may have hit Kate be the reason he can’t remember what happened as he most certainly would want to conceal this.

Nothing is straight forward with this pair.

I love your way with words!! I take it that 'wean' is Scottish for baby and 'ugger' is less than complimentary to it!! LOL!

I wish I had ROB's and Viv's faith that they will get their come uppance - I try to keep the faith with my little words of wisdom such as 'the wheel will turn' and 'every dog has it's day' etc, but I do wonder why the Tapas 9, or at least those who left their children without due care and attention leading to the disappearance of Madeleine, didn't get arrested and charged with neglect in Portugal, because I know we've been led to believe that if they had been Portuguese they would have been!

nancy said...

Wizard -

Nine times out of ten, when a man falls asleep as soon as his head hits the pillow, it's the result of more than enough booze!!

Have the tapas pals confirmed that Gerry had been ignoring her all night? - if not, then how can we believe just what they say? There have been so many discrepancies in all their accounts so far!

Hi Dylan -

The weather here is very hot and humid - I'm just going for a cool dip!!

I think you are going to get some good Bank Holiday weather though!

I hope you don't worry too much about what the viper's den says about you; you have your childrens' support and a clear conscience and that's the most important thing!

So enjoy your life and put the bad parts of your past way behind you!

Hiya Nancy

I continue to believe there is very good reason for not apprehending child neglectors, if people are going to be charged with an offence then the whole case has to be brought to court. It was not an option to say we want you as witnesses in a future case against the McCanns but in the meantime, we are prosecuting you.

Prosecutors always have to think, what is most in the interests of justice. In this case it would not be damaging a far more serious investigation by bringing lesser charges.

You surely must have heard of cases where lesser players are not prosecuted e.g. petty drug dealers and users because they want to get the importers etc and the petty ones give evidence against them - this is pursuing the cause of justice by netting the most serious offenders.

Neglect is a serious crime, but nevertheless, it pales into insignificance in comparison to murder, perverting the course of justice, disposing of a child's body and fraud.

I also believe there may well be other aspects to this case, that have and are being investigated on an international level. The Police will take their time in such a case to make sure they prosecute the most serious offenders for the most serious offences committed.

Think of what Jane Tanner did alone, that is far more serious than leaving her child unattended - she tried to frame an innocent man and prevent the police from properly investigating what really took place in the disappearance of a little girl who she knew very well, that would attract a heavy prison sentence.

Hiya Viv -

I know what your saying and that you have held this view all along! You know much more about criminal law than the rest of us that's true. I can see why the Portuguese justices would think that way but I can also see why local people might turn round and say - hey, why are this lot not being charged when my friend was etc., the same as less fortunate people in the UK have! However, if the end justifies the means then all the waiting for justice for Madeleine will have been worth it eh!!

Just to refresh on part of what GA had to say in his book:

'The British Police were working very closely with the PJ. They were in a room just next to the 'crisis room'that the PJ worked in and were aware of everything that was going on.

The BP agreed with the PJ that Madeleine had died in the apartment 5A and that there was a body that needed to be found. Later things seemed to change.

Unusual and privileged treatment of the couple is stressed!'
----------------------------------

On the last sentence, I would say -

They can say that again!!!

Perhaps the McCann's should make the most of that privileged treatment!!

Back later - off to have a shower and some lovely Indian food!!

During my holiday the arguido status was lifted from the Mc Canns.

As I had no internet(during my stay in Italy) I have tried the last weeks to find an interview or smt like that with them. But couldn't find any thing.

Except a comment from Gerry about no evidence that Madeleine was harmed and that ridiculous comment about Kate having nightmares so she always wakes up at 4.

They always said that they couldn't speak because of the arguido status and now it is lifted they choose to leave the stones unturned.

It's so sad that it is now so obvious that they are doing nothing to find Madeleine.

The constant cr@pola re absolutely no evidence she has been harmed and everyone should be clear about that. Well I read the mother of the missing child gets up at 4am and I also read she had put more pics of her missimg child up around her home. I wonder, as she is putting up these pics does she look at them and think there is no evidence she has been harmed, she is probably being held by a paedophile ring in Morocco or Amsterdam or Belgium or Brazil or Argentina or somewhere by three of the mostly ugliest men one can imagine but rest assured she has come to no harm.

What a load of codswallop. Please do not insult the intelligence of anyone with one working braincell you embarrass yourself further with these ridiculous stories and inane statements.

Zodiac, aw :-( but yeah it was funny wasn't it? tee hee!!!

Dylan,

It was so funny that I am still PMSL. I have to say thank you to you for forgetting all about me. You reminded me of a happy memory of my childhood. I must have been about 10 months old. I was sitting gurgling away to myself in my buggy whilst my mummy was in the Baker shop. I could see her chatting to people and laughing. I was chewing my fingers because my little gums were aching, I was cutting some more teeth. My mummy came out of the Bakers shop with a box of lovely cakes, I put my arms out and gave her a big smile. She walked down the road away from me then disappeared around the corner out of sight. I thought she was playing hide and seek. A long time passed and she did not peep out and shout "peek a boo". I could feel my little bottom lip starting to quiver. Then I cried and cried, in between shouting "Ma"..."Ma" I was crying and crying, an older kid in the buggy next to me shouted "Ssh! stop yer greetin or you will have lot greetin anaw." Out of the corner of my eye I could see lots and lots of kids in buggies and prams. Even though there was thunder and lighting I did feel safe, I realised that this was just the era I lived in and my mummy could just leave me it was OK. Well I did start to worry again cos every time a mummy came out of the Baker shop she took her kid with her. When I was the last buggy parked all on my own I started to bawl my eyes out again. Through the tears I saw someone coming towards me. It was my mummy! I knew it was her cos she had a shopping list in her hand, I recognized the paper, she had ripped it off the back of one of my story books. She always did that to my books. She was way ahead of her time when it came to preserving the planet and recycling. Well the woman who owned the Baker shop was locking up as it was half day opening that day. I heard my mummy say. "I had just finished off my lunch with one of your lovely cakes with my afternoon cuppa and thought, ooh something is missing. I looked at my shopping list and realised I had forgot to get teabags. I was watching the beautiful thunder and lighting whilst washing up the lunch dishes but there was still that little niggle that I had forgot something. Well when I looked at my little ones high chair and she was not there I remembered I had left her here". The lady from the Baker shop said "och dinnae bother feeling quilty, it is perfectly safe aroon here, nothin would happen to her. You know you this toon is so safe you could go out for dinner to the local wine bar 50 mts fae yer hoose wae yer hubby and leave her at hame tucked up safely in her cot wae the frunt door unlocked, as long as you check her every 15 er or is it 30 mins er or is it 1hr 45mins, it is well within the bounds of responsible parenting ye know." Well mummy and the lady could not stop laughing and I started to laugh too and I knew with the advice the lady had given I had many a happy night ahead of me. Mummy and I and all the family laughed and laughed about that day lots and lots and still do 45 yrs later.

Hiya Doc e Claudia

I hope you have a great trip and would always choose driving if poss in such lovely country and it will even save you getting the heeby jeebies: Take the laptop and keep us updated.

According to an Anon poster on ST's blog the police have posters from 3 As in custody, did not mention the particular criminal offence but jeez it must be serious Doc, because we have no prison places in UK so to remand someone they have to be real bad. So just a word of advice Doc, for your hard drive for your laptop make sure it is just one of those plug in thingies and when you see the British Police hurtling headlong through the bush in your direction throw your plug in to the nearest lion and shout fetch, then see if the blighters are even brave enough to try and get incriminating evidence against you. Oh and make sure you take a printer and some glossy photo paper because that can be so handy, no matter where you are, you might need to give the police evidence of well god know's what but you will think of something and photos can be good evidence Doc, you oi ar you listening, even if you photoshop and old pic it can still have evidential value: So there you are there are all my top legal tips for a safe journey and watch out there are McSpams about and everyone is going to get arrested and that is a fact, no need for any actual arrestable offence to have been committed just if they say sox

I don't think the McCanns will do much looking for Madeleine. According to GA, if the PJ's, the BP's and the cadaver dogs are to be believed, then sweet Madeleine died in the apartment so what really is the point of still looking for her.

However, if, as they insist, they are convinced she is still alive and taken by a paedophile, just why aren't they leaving no stone unturned as they promised from the outset!! Unless, of course, they know something the rest of us don't!

This is all quite scary really, as by my rough calculation I probably share 28% of my DNA with Supertroll and 24% with Rosiepops :-)))))

Hi all,

'But the point is, were you reading Harry Potter by the age of 3?'

Docmac JK was born in 65 I was born in 62. However by age 3 I was reading the volumes of Britannica Encyclopaedia and enjoyed watching Dr Who with the first Doctor (William Hartnell) you know just like all 3 yr olds of my era.

Have a safe journey Docmac and remember to keep your memory stick on your person at all times, you never know when those pesky cops will turn up. I had to go to the hole in the wall today, there was a police car behind mine. Thank goodness I had my memory stick in my handbag, I saw a group of hoodies loitering about the shops I thought if that cop car stops me I will follow Viv's advice and chuck that memory stick in their direction along with my laptop, no chance of the cops getting their hands on that he! he!.

It is most important to know when you may want to throw evidence away to avoid being incriminated by big bad PJs and even worserer UK cops and their sidekicks the FSS and SOCA - right dodgy bunch who will set the dogs on you as look at you, so take care guys.

Rosiepops says:

"This 40 year old woman comes onto the net drunk most of the time, betraying and naming her own child and allowing her underage daughter to be placed in a dangerous situation in her boyfriend's home, where no doubt more underage sex is probably occurring. No parental guidance, nothing, zilch. Just what else could be happening in this house to this CHILD? Does she actually KNOW? Is she sober long enough to have thought about this? It is obvious that she has no idea what the hell is happening to her own daughter in that house, the mother is too preoccupied in her own drunken world on her computer busily abusing two grieving parents."

Excuse me? You actually know this woman? Judging by what I have read she is a great mom. Yes, she says she enjoys a very occasional drink. How does that make her irresponsible? She's not like that friend of yours that becomes totally incoherent after 11pm every night whilst not even knowing where her daughter is. You know, the one you defend as a good mother and all. Now that's a child I feel sorry for.

You are beneath contempt, mister. You are judgemental in the extreme about people you don't even know. You are also a serial fantasist and a liar. You don't deserve to be a parent or grandparent IMO. I most certainly would not let you near any of my kids, or anyone else's kids for that matter. Shame on you.

You're right. People have different phobias. Some are funny, some are not. I can't say I have a specific irrational fear. I know they are dangerous for your health, but that's not it. I just find it terribly claustrophobic when they almost close the damn things.
I know that some people have 'funny' phobias, like feathers, ballons, birds, etc. There are some weird people out there. Some even panic at the simple thought of forgetting their children somewhere. Can you believe that?

Di said...

Just been over to 3A's

This is very interesting!!!!

A leading current affairs journalist, Nick, 60, has specialised in crime reporting. He hosted the flagship BBC show for more than 20 years, until leaving in 2007

I have just won a £100 flutter. The wager – rather tasteless in retrospect – was made last year with one of Britain's best investigative reporters, who bet that Madeleine McCann had been murdered by her parents. I have always been sure she was abducted by an intruder and that the case against Kate and Gerry would come to nothing.

I, like every parent, felt for the McCanns. As the drama unfolded we all wanted Madeleine’s safe return and, failing that, for someone to be held accountable. When the drip feed of press rumour turned on the family itself it was little wonder people felt unsettled. Remember those tearful appeals for missing people made by relatives or friends who were later convicted of their murder?

But my defence of the McCanns was more than a hunch. I have had no special access to the investigation but in more than 20 years of working with victims and police on Crimewatch I have spent hundreds of hours analysing evidence of major crimes alongside top detectives. I learned to look at probabilities, and from the start I was appalled at the rush to blame Kate and Gerry for their own daughter's disappearance.

Finger of suspicion

For them these last 14 months must have been the cruellest imaginable. To lose a three-year old child and then become a formal suspect, with the world pointing fingers, must be almost unbearable. If the family survives intact it will be a miracle, and a testament to quite exceptional fortitude. If it doesn't, we should hang our heads in shame at the way they have been treated.

A year ago I pointed out that all the indications were that Kate and Gerry were victims of rare and appalling circumstances and deserved our sympathy, not a baying mob outside Portimão police station when they were questioned. It is true that adults sometimes kill their children, but usually it is stepfathers or live-in lovers, and most often in dysfunctional families; or alternatively in the first year after birth when the mum has postnatal depression – this is why we have a special category of homicide called infanticide.

Madeleine was almost four, living happily in a stable family with no history of serious discord, let alone physical abuse. There were wild rumours that Kate and Gerry had given their children sedatives to keep them quiet, but it was simply a press invention.

In any case, you only need to look at the sequence of events, The parents were dining with friends just around the corner from their apartment, with all of the group occasionally checking on their kids. It is simply not plausible that having discovered Madeleine had died unexpectedly either Kate or Gerry cleverly disposed of the body – so brilliantly that it was never found – and was back at the tapas bar within moments, as though nothing had happened. Or are we to suppose that each of the other "tapas seven" hurriedly agreed to hush it up, a conspiracy that has stayed watertight?

I think it is almost certain that the forensic evidence is just as threadbare. Today we are used to hearing about microscopic particles and other scientific clues that it’s tempting to suppose they are infallible in identifying guilt. But the data you get out are only as good as the samples you put in, and in this case there was nothing of substantive evidential value.

No forensic experts were called in until the apartment had been comprehensively tramped through by well-meaning helpers and police. Almost another six weeks went by before minute traces of blood were found in the apartment – but it would hardly be surprising if a boisterous three-year old had a minor cut. In any case, why would that suggest that Kate and Gerry killed her? Are we to suppose that instead of overdosing her they bashed her to death or took a knife to her, before hurriedly agreeing a cover-up and heading back to finish supper?

And are we to take seriously the reports that a dog trained to sniff for bodies got excited when searching the McCanns' hire car? After all, they didn't rent it until more than three weeks after Madeleine disappeared. Are we to deduce that the couple shook off all the attention, dug up their own child's putrefying body from a temporary hiding place and drove around unobserved for a more suitable disposal? I know from dozens of cases I have looked into that truth is often stranger than fiction, but even so this macabre scenario simply isn't credible.

What then of the argument that there cannot be smoke without fire; that the Portuguese prosecutors would only have made the McCanns arguidos if there were grounds to distrust them? Well, unless we are to assume that every suspect is guilty, the arguido status is no more proof than some detectives had suspicions, suspicions which we now know have come to nought.

In any case the local police were hopelessly out of their depth. Child abductions are rare. Most are taken by a parent as part of a custody battle or by partners as a result of a dispute. But stranger kidnappings by paedophiles are even more extraordinary, so much so that a small country like Portugal inevitably has little experience of how to deal with them.

Looking the wrong way

Their police failed to convict because they were looking the wrong way – something that tragically happens quite a lot in major investigations – and Alipio Ribeiro, the former head of Portugal's police, was right to say the inquiry should not have been closed but should look "in other directions".

What's more it should be regarded as a murder case. I have no doubt that Madeleine has been dead since early last May, and we should acknowledge the utter implausibility of her survival. We all want to keep up hope, but it must be unhealthy for the McCanns to stretch their faith into continued anticipation that she is out there somewhere waiting to be found.

It must also be unhealthy that a sacked detective is hawking his memoirs by implying – or allowing the implication – that the McCanns are guilty after all. Apparently, Goncalo Amaral thinks Madeleine "died in the apartment", which for all I know may be true, though I strongly doubt there is sufficient forensic evidence to prove it. In any case, why would that implicate one person rather than another?

One day, with any luck, the truth will out, and the real culprit will be found. Meanwhile the family deserves our support in coming to terms with their loss and what, in all reason, must be a great deal of bitterness too.

Before I leave I think I should try to answer some of Rosie's questions, as it seems GA is too busy LHAO at them. I have taken a random selection from the 158. That's 110 more than Kate refused to answer btw.

110. What date did your dog die and what contact did you have with the dogs cadaver?

WTF?

111. Did you or any of your men have contact with dead or drowned human bodies prior to the sniffer dogs being brought to Portugal?

They're cops, not f***ing Premier league footballers, for Ch***'* sake. Oh, hang on, I forgot about Joey Barton..

112. Is it true and are you aware of the *FACT* that two of the by-products of decomposition, putrescine and cadaverine, have been bottled and are commercially available as dog training aids. But they are also present in *ALL* decaying organic material, and in human saliva?

Yes, but the dog doesn't react to those. You know this. Stop talking sh1t.

113. According to rumours leaked about the McCanns from these sources "close to the PJ" the group were said to have drank 14 bottles of wine on the night of May 3? The bill from the restaurant in your files indicates ONLY 2 bottle of wine and several bottles of non-alcoholic beverages (for the entire group) -- how would you explain that discrepancy?

The package included free house wine. Thes bottles were ordered in addition. But you know that.

114. And why was it leaked that they had drank more wine than you actually knew to be the case? If you were having dinner with a group of 9 people, would you have more than two bottles of wine on the table?

See above.

115. On the night of May 3, 2007 How much had you had to drink after 18:00 hours?

Your point is?

116. If you had chosen to drive to Praia da Luz when the call for help was made on May 3, 2007 would you have been breaking the law?

Amaral was a senior officer. He would not choose to drive. He was driven.

117. Is that in fact one of the reasons you chose to coordinate from home?

You were there?

118. We are led to believe that Praia da Luz is a quiet little place with zero crime. We are also led to believe that very few children go missing in Portugal, so when you got the call that a little foreign national child had gone missing and her parents believe she had been abducted, why did you take the unusual step to co ordinate the operation from home?

You were there?

119. Were you not worried about the preservation of the crime scene and being on the spot to put in place the routine for when a child goes missing? Were you not worried about missing the *Golden Hours*?

I think you should ask *Gerry* this question.

120. From where did Felicia Cabrita obtain all her information and is it true that her husband is your lawyer "Antonio Cabrita"?

Your point is?

121. Why did it take you over a week to instruct police to visit the only supermarket near the Ocean Club?

Your point is?

122. Why did the police not carry out door to door searches immediately Madeleine was reported missing believed abducted?

You were there?

123. Due to the very close proximity (about 7 miles) that Joana Cipriano went missing did you ever consider that there may be a connection between the disappearances of Joana and Madeleine?

That'll be two murders within 7 miles of each other then, many years apart. I'm pretty sure the figures are way higher in most cities and towns in the UK.

124. How would you have handled a connection between these two missing children if it had emerged?

All murders are investigated in the same way.

125. Why did you refuse Scotland Yard experts help?

You WERE there!

126. If you felt so strongly that the parents were involved then why allow them to drive their car in for examination?

You were DEFINITELY there!

127. Considering how important the shutter was to this investigation, why was the shutter not taken away and stripped down for proper analysis?

Fingerprint and DNA swabs were taken. When a train crashes on a bridge do they dismantle the entire bridge and send it away for proper analysis? Your point is?

128. Why was the wall outside the flat not examined for footprints by the forensic team?

Link please. The Sun and NOTW are not acceptable sources.

129. Why was the car park outside Madeleine's window not checked for tyre prints?

Link please. The Sun and NOTW are not acceptable sources.

130. What is odd about contacting Sky when your child goes missing? Did you consider cultural differences? Did you try to understand that publicity and advertising that a child has disappeared, using the media is how things are handled in Britain??

Cultural differences? This is a POLICE case you xenophobic idiot. Advertising the coloboma if she was not in fact murdered would have been a great idea right?

Re Cabrita, exactly!

ROTB,

Oh and were you on first name terms with the investigating officer?

Jeepers BT

I didn't even see you there. Welcome back mate! I sent you a bloody long e-mail a few days ago. Hope you got it.

Need to get the car packed up with a bit of luggage and a packed brunch. No rotting fish, no salivating pigs and no menstruating chickens included.

The car's not French either so it should do the 1000 miles easily enough without any mechanical trouble. Vorsprung durch technik :-) Sorry to the drunkard in Glasgow and others who would undoubtedly wish otherwise (or worse).

Hi all,

I forgot I had to sign in.

BT welcome back.

Nancy,

We all know why Gerry prefers to make a PP-presentation instead of searching for Kate's child.

Docmac,

What is happenning on that blog? are they getting nervous?

BTW een hele goede reis.

docmac said...

Dank u wel, Atardi.

Hulle lyk heel ontsteld, ja.

Translation for Viv: They're all flipping bonkers. :-)))))

"ROTB,

Oh and were you on first name terms with the investigating officer?"

Zodiac, of course. Isn't that normal?

Doc, have a safe trip. Don't forget to text me, baby. :-)

BT! My fellow believer, so glad to see you back and refreshed after a good break from all things McScam, they leave such a foul taste in the mouth we all need a break!

So Sass one of the er website owners who strives for justice for ALL the McCann family (here here, there is justice for victims and perpetrators) spends her time on the net searching for Afrikanns phrase books, ummmmm, Kate and Gerry will be so pleased with her efforts:-)))) Doc, I think you are sending them even further around the u-bend:-)))

Sass said...
Cowardly anon who refuses to use a name which means we most probably know you - in fact many of us think we do in fact know you - rumbled.

I found the phrasebook on the Internet - I posted the link. In case you didn't realise - how limited you must be - writing "where is the toilet" in Afrikaans is phrasebook stuff - hardly something you would use when debating something on a blog. Every phrase that was used was in the phrasebook I found on the net.

Unknown said...

well of course the spelling mistake was deliberate, would I lie, I would not wish to disappoint:-)) Oh and I missed the apostrophy, splendid!

Cláudia said...

Di, of course. Texting with Doc is always under the duvet. ;-)

See you soon, Doc.

Viv, LOL

Unknown said...

Ola Claudia my lovely,

Well I have to say I am so disappointed the McCanns did not broadcast a Bank Holiday special for us all, I mean we just love to see them on TV, don't we?

And, now they are spending an apparent £160,000 per month on their erm search for Maddie it would be so nice to know all the leads they are making from the PJ file. I bet they nearly have her back in their loving arms, then they can go for a nice meal to celebrate with their pals:-)))

Give her some nice ripped story books to read herself off to sleep with.

Evening ALL

Private eyes are now getting the blame for draining the fund things must be getting desprate for Team McCann...

Can you imagine "Hello Gerry here can we Hire you"

"Yes you can we charge £100K a month"

"Great when can you start?"

And then comes the headline...

Madeleine fund in chaos as private eyes are axed after draining £500,000

How dare they ask to be paid???

We will be told how the McCann's have suffered next after being charged for 5 months work LUDICROUS...

When things were not going well for them last year we had the story about Evil Justine McGuinnes being paid a fortune (How dare these people make money out of a missing child)??? Easy really when the parents of the missing child do all they can to raise cash and pay people to run around in circles..

What a farce...

hope4truth said...

Rat nice to see you out of jail I was wearing pink ribbons in my hair and had just set up a company to raise money for your release...

Will use the cash raised to buy a bag of crisps now you are free...

Cláudia said...

Viv, LOL

I have just read the Daily Mail article and could not avoid LOL. Not even God would be good enough for them.

Unknown said...

Hiya guys

Well how weird I was going on about the Fund.

I think I will make that article a new thread!

Thanks
Viv xxxx

Cláudia said...

Viv, it's kind of hilarious, isn't it? The FBI, Scotland yard, CIA, MI5 etc aren't good enough for them. They're probably right. After the PJ it's difficult to find better! LOL

docmac said...

Claudia

Hehehe. Stopped for petrol about 350km out of CT (no M25s here) and made some calls, checked my e-mail (one from you, none from the boss - I'm resigning) and logged in to see what's going on. The FBI, Scotland yard, CIA, MI5 etc never had any chance anyway. They need honest information. No hope of getting that from the perps though.

Viv, did you know that one in four Britons own a copy of Dark Side of the Moon?

Cláudia said...

Did wanna disturb your driving, baby. So, instead of texting, I e-mailed you. Maybe the russian secret servives could help. Or Vatican's. I heard they're the best...

Cláudia said...

P.S: Drive safely. Read you soon. Beijinhos.

Unknown said...

Well Doc, one in four Britons are seriously cool. Strange, I have been listening to PF, earlier Dark Side Moon, currently Division Bell, track "keep talking..where do we go from here, it does not have to be like this...all we need to do is make sure we keep on talking"

Do you think Kate and Gerry been taking advice from Gilmour as well, hope not, you can go off people!

Have a good trip xxxx

dylan said...

ROTB, lol! If only I had been more negligent, he could have had 12 A*s!!

Docmac, I hope you have had a safe and stress free flight. x

To RPoops:

I assume that this refers to myself? Just to set the record straight:

Yes I did go out and get absolutely sh*t faced that one time because I couldn't cope with my life at that one time. I had no children with me so what's the harm there then eh? It's not like I left them at home to fend for themsleves.

With regards to my daughter:

1) the boy she had her indescretion with, I did my best, I warned her. I did everything short of trailing the pair of them which, quite frankly, would have been stalking. After I found out, I took her to a help centre, talked to her, cuddled her and sat up with her for hours on end and went to the doctors with her. I did absolutely everything within my powers, not to stop her but to EDUCATE her that it was the wrong thing to do.

I do NOT believe in bullying children into not doing something they will do anyway. That's what my father did to me. I believe in giving them the correct information and a loving home if they do mess up. I see that you believe the opposite. Tell me - do you beat the badness out of your grand children?

Let me tell you about Laura's current boyfriend.
I always know what they are doing and where they are. I have instilled trust in both of them. When she is at her boyfriend's house, his parents are with them, always. I can phone his dad whenever I want as he's an old school friend of mine, and I do. Laura went camping with Dan last week, with his parents and brother and sister. Dan is a great kid. My dad loves him which says an awful lot. He idolises Laura, helps me out when I cook in the evenings, mows my lawn, changes lightlbulbs and still asks me what more he can do. I would be perfectly happy if they marry eventually and give me grandchildren. I couldn't ask for a better son-in-law.

RP - know what? I think you are more like Laura's dad and his wife. They hate Dan because he is the son of a window cleaner and his wife stays at home. They say it's because she is lazy. I HATE bigots and that's exactly how you are portraying yourself. Well, her dad and step mom are going to miss out beacuse they've alienated a wonderful, future son-in-law and I'll be the one holding my beautiful grandchild. The only imput her dad has had is money. New money. She can see straight through it and she hates him for it.

My children are
healthy, happy, motivated, loving, balanced and stimulated. I was doing maths puzzles with Ryan at the age of 7 and he could do quadratics a year later - know what they are? I read to them every night until they could read for themsleves. I still read to Elly even though she is 9. We read, we share and we talk and discuss. Elly is fluent in French by the way.

If I were a drunkard, I'm fairly impressed that I managed that!!!

So, go away. Leave me alone. Myself and my kids are destined for better things than what you venomously spew out. I'm off to the Arctic next year to try and sort out what the blo*dy hell our climate has been doing for the past few millenia and what it might do in the future. What are you doing for the good of your planet poops? I really wanna know!

xx

Hi guys,

Sorry for the rant. Someone made me cross. Can't think who!! To think I've only had one and half bottles of tequila today too. I'm offended! My liver is screaming for more!

Hope Docmac's going to be OK when he takes his flight. You know you can delay it, Doc, but you can't negate it completely!

Anyone still up?

Oh I see. A sportsman. No-one important then.

MY CENTIMENTS EXACTLY!!

docmac said...
No, jj. Not important, but I would rather read about and watch Mr Bergkamp than Paris Hilton or anyone who has ever appeared on Big Brother.

DON’T MENTION BB PLEASE DOC – I DO NOT UNDERSTAND ANYONE WHO CAN BRING THEMSELVES TO WATCH THAT GHASTLY PROGRAMME WITH THE LIKES OF JADE BADDY BECOMING A WORLD FAMOUS CELEBRITY ON THE BACK OF IT.

J J said...
I just don't think sportsmen are important. I am very proud to say that I did not see the opening ceremony of the Olympics or the closing ceremony or anything in-between.

JJ, YOU ARE CLEARLY RIGHT IN WHAT YOU SAY – THE CLOSING CEREMONY HASN’T YET TAKEN PLACE!!

ICTOAN Nice to see you back! There are several ladies on this site who have taken a shine to you!!! And there was me dreaming about a man in uniform!!

Di you said “My daughter is absolutely scared to death if she sees a spider. I have no idea where this fear came from as the rest of our family have no fear.”

I understand!! My daughter’s email address begins moths_are_evil@...!!! Interesting article from the Crimewatch presenter – didn’t Crimewatch turn down the suggestion they do a reconstruction of 3rd May 2007??? He is so pro-McCann that you’d have thought he would want to help!!

Rat said “Watch out for more on the 24 photos in future.”

Sounds very interesting and just what I have been waiting for!!

Dylan – please don’t let ‘the other side’ get to you!! They are not worth it and you mustn’t play into their court and let them think they have won!! You and you’re your children know your worth as a mother, and that is all that matters!

Reading back has taken sooooo long! I just don't know how you guys manage to spend such a lot of time here and yet fill your lives with so many other things as well??!!

Stonemaid said...

Sorry everyone - I obviously meant sentiments!!! It's nearly 3am here - clearly I should be in bed rather than posting!!

dylan said...

Hiya Stonemaid - clearly!! :)))

I don't go to "that place" anymore but Docmac posted it so I felt I had to respond. Call it answering in a drunken stupor ;-))

How are you? I have to go to bed shortly, V tired. xx

Stonemaid said...

I really mustn't post late again - I will have the Doc-spelling-police onto me - he will cringe when he sees "you’re children"

Definitely off to bed now!

Night all.

Stonemaid - lol! Don't worry, I won't tell a soul. Sleep well.

Troll - thank you for making me the star of your wonderful blog, yet again. Haven't read back. Don't need to, but just let me know when you want an encore.
(my charge-out rate is £50/hour, in a brown envelope, if you please)

Goodnight and please don't disturb unitl 9am tomorrow or I may have to charge an optional fee of £500,000 if you wish to find info you are looking for.

Over and out: "Dyl,nostoneunturnedjustdon't disturbmysleep,jogging,tennins,drinking"

It just shows how interested I am in sport.
I've heard people on the news talking about the closing ceremony, so I assumed it had taken place.
