PJ INTERESTED IN GERRY'S MASTERCARD SPENDING

Very interesting choice of picture for Diario to use with the article below. They do say you have to speculate to accumulate and this looks to me like a load of printing Gerry had done, did he use his Mastercard for that, knowing he would be well reimbursed. Let us not forget this couple used the Fund monies to pay their mortgage, that seriously smacks of fraud and also a couple whose finances are not exactly in good order. Clearly one would normally expect such a couple to have several thousand pounds in reserve and definitely not need to be dip into a fund ostensibly to find their missing daughter. Remember Gerry's furious remark that they were ultimately being forced to use the Find Maddie Fund, to find Maddie!! given the PJ were only looking for her body. Gerry McCann has another criminal trait I have noted that is not an endearing one either, a clear sense of entitlement, he says what is going to happen, what the agenda is and then reacts with fury when the Police are far too intelligent to agree with him! That sly smug look is omnipresent and she clings to her stage prop, reeking of eau de corpse, not nice Kate, time to tell the truth!
The report below gives me cause for concern. It is understandable that the PJ wanted to know about cash withdrawals, use of his Mastercard and the amount of time spent on his mobile by Gerry McCann both before and after the disappearance of Madeleine. I do not think it was at all "disproportionate" for the PJ to want details of the transactions on Gerry's Mastercard for a period of six months. On the contrary in a major criminal investigation apparently involving fraud or financial problems being the motivation for murder it would be perfectly normal for police to scrutinise all financial transactions for a period of years, let alone months.

What are the British Police and the Home Office about? On the one hand there are so many indicators that they are taking this seriously and wish to pursue the McCanns. I particularly took heart when reading the comments of the barrister for the Chief Constable of Leicestershire Police in the High Court action the McCanns commenced demanding disclosure of all files held by LP in an action they themselves apparently started within days of Madeleine disappearing making her a Ward of Court. The barrister stressed that this case was very much still under investigation and there were operational reasons for not disclosing such details to the McCanns. But on the other hand this report is another example of where there does seem to be a clear failure to co-operate with Portuguese Police which does seem to have motivated them to abandon their own enquiry. I think there are two ways of looking at this, one there is a cover up by British authorities and a clear denial of relevant information to the Portuguese. I know a lot of people favour this view. The second is that in the UK serious investigations are dealt with in an extremely confidential way, information is not leaked to the newspapers, unless it is a strategic measure in relation to certain information to further the enquiry, generally where a direct appeal to the public is being made for help and information. Therefore there may have been concern that ultimately, whatever we disclosed to the Portuguese authorities could either be revealed to the McCanns and the general public via the Portuguese press or, ultimately, via the opening up of the investigation as has now happened. Have we therefore deliberately held vital information back to further our own enquiry into the conduct of the McCanns? Increasingly, I feel this is a very real possibility. I have read that the specialist Economic Crimes Unit at LP have also been investigating this case. This is very pertinent to the facts of this case and IMO always has been. It has been abundantly clear from a very early stage that amassing large amounts of money are very important to the McCanns and that they used Madeleine as a marketing logo employing a number of firms specialising in this area to further that aim, like Mr Halligen for example. He has no expertise at all in finding missing children does he. The McCanns are clearly worried that his name has come out in the press and the fact that this man has apparently been "axed". It would seem he was not assisting in protecting the McCanns' image at all and therefore he had to go! Quite why that is of so much concern to their DG pal remains a mystery but I have a view as to why he may be involved and so concerned. In fact it would seem, even seeking to placate Mr Murat for the wrong done to him by the false accusations.... of paedophilia, something the apparent supporters of Kate and Gerry McCann do not think we should be discussing on here. Well that clearly tells us something. However, I sometimes wonder whether they really are on Kate and Gerry's side. Their blogs are such sick and sinister places with the comments filled with hatred, venom and very perverse thinking which would not occur to a normal person. Could they really be trying to demonstrate, by association what Kate And Gerry are really like, as they so accurately portray : sinister, sick and evil!

JUSTICE FOR MADDIE, NO MATTER WHAT ROUTE THAT MAY TAKE, IF IT MEANS EXPOSING CORRUPTION THAT IS WHAT WE CONTINUE TO DO!

Request for research on the accounts of Gerry is disproportionate British authorities saw no reason to justify research bank to the father of Maddie

The Portuguese police have asked the British authorities to investigate the collaboration of Gerry McCann bank accounts under the disappearance of Maddie. However, this request was considered excessive by the British authorities, since they covered a period of six months. Initially the authorities requested a clarification to the public prosecutor Portuguese, who best explained the reasons for the request: to identify whether there was some unknown reason behind the disappearance of Maddie and whether there is any individual or individuals responsible for their disappearance. The English authorities did not accept the request for clarification of Portugal and, in its letter of reply, sent the June 16, voicing concern about the reasons that led the authorities to request information on banking operations for six months, the credit card of Martercad Maddie's father. The counting of this period of time began to April 1, about six weeks before the disappearance of the child. Despite the official explanation of the Portuguese authorities, British police also took into account an unofficial explanation provided by the research team which visited England. At the time the police said Gerry McCann from Leicestershire which had been seen to raise cash in machines and talk to the phone. The Portuguese police wanted to know whether this action could be related to the disappearance. Kennah Francs, head of UK Central Authority, explains that after weighting in the application of coercive measures, the office, sees no reason to grant the permit requirements, whereas the request is not justified and seem disproportionate. The British authorities seeking clarification new to Portugal, however, this is not sent and the case is filed just over a month later. Without evidence that the couple McCann has committed any crime, the MP decided to close the case. On July 21, Kate and Gerry, along with Robert Murat, views raised the status of accused.

Viv
You may have missed this from earlier.

Another scenario has emerged from reading a Claudia link and fits in with the rumours about swingers and could explain the tightness of this lot.

D.P + K.H are busy with each other when Madeleine interupts and sees them up to something. KH reacts instinctively and hits out and a 'problem' occurs. D.P goes back via tennis court to inform G.M & to his apartment to inform his wife F.P and she goes to help out her friend K.H (remember in her statement F.P says she goes running on the beach at about this time) G.M returns from the tennis court to organise the clean up and D.P returns to the tennis court leaving mother in law to attend their children thus giving alibi and time to talk to the other men in the party. Thus G.M + K.H + F.P are in the apartment and a plan gets hatched.

I am not saying this happened I am merely suggesting this type of thing could have as it
1) Fits in with the swinging rumour.
2) Fits in with timings and statements
3) Gives a motive for an insticntive reaction.
4) Explains why they all stick together as they are all intimately involved/connected.
5) Fits in with Madeleine being a bonny curious little girl.

What do you think Viv?

Claudia, a smile is a very therapeutic exercise. For yourself and also the ones observing you having one.

I remember many years ago, had a new gardener and he left one of our gates open. It was about 10 pm when I went to check and saw my two dogs gone. My three children were asleep and I contacted my neigbourgh to look after my kids, whilst I was driving through our town, leaning out of the window, calling out the names of my two dogs. Four hours later, found both of them. I would not have dreamt of going to sleep without actively searching for them !
I'll never forget the anguish and desperation I felt that evening. And that, towards my pets.

Fiona Phillips tells us in today’s Mirror…..

“Kate and Gerry McCann's visit to publicise the first anniversary of Madeleine's disappearance. Sara Payne's tireless campaigning since her daughter Sarah's murder. And Mark Prince, dad of promising young footballer Kiyan, 15, who was stabbed to death in May 2006.
All of them have had a profound personal effect on Fiona.
"Meeting people like that is very humbling," she says.
"They are what have kept me in the job for so long. Just seeing the McCanns made me feel tearful.
"I went in to see Kate while she was in makeup and I could barely find the words. I just said: 'I don't know what to say.' You can actually see the tragedy in their demeanour. They carry it with them wherever they go. They are parents who are grieving and Kate is remarkable. I have no idea how she's managed to cope.”

My, my just as well she’s leaving - not being able to see the wood for the trees is not a good quality in a journalist.

docmac said...

Oh, that was very interesting. It suggests there was a lot of 'fiddling' going on within the group too. I must say the press here is much less regulated than it is in the UK. None of the editors seem to know anyone who wears pink.

docmac said...

"I went in to see Kate while she was in makeup....."

Wizard said...

I’ve just been having a look at Jane Tanner’s recently released statement she gave to the pj she says.

“As she was in the bedroom, around 10, she heard Kate Healy and Fiona scream that Madeleine had disappeared. She doesn’t know if it was Kate who found out about the disappearance as she wasn’t in the restaurant then. All their evenings went the same way. It was normal for them to leave the table in turns . Madeleine Beth McCann was a good child, loving, busy, and fun. She loved playing, was intelligent and JT doesn’t believe she would let an unknown person get near without screaming…”

Fiona screamed …….well that’s a new one.

I have only ever seen snippets of this woman and that was more than enough. Is this not what she is always like:

'I could barely find the words. I just said: 'I don't know what to say.'

All those involved in the brown nosing will get their comeuppance.
All the articles/interviews where they have @rs*licked and fawned are here forever. If there is ever justice for this little one, the neglect of all 3 children addressed, the Fund investigated and if there is any wrong doing uncovered and other investigations done and made public then, imo, these so called celebs who think they are important and shape and form public opinions and think we all look up to the dosey lot of them, will one by one be dropped from their cosy little jobs. If they had any commonsense they would have kept their gobs shut instead of jumping on the band wagon and gravy train. Hi everyone -

For those who just love to knock the PJ's and accuse them of not doing enough to find Madeleine, i.e. the McCanns, CM, and all the pros, may be interested in the following information:

"When the Prosecutor, Jose de Menezes, held the final report of the JP in his hands on the 20th June 2008 he cannot fail to praise the hard work of the investigators. The distillation includes:

4,500 pages in 17 volumes, plus 12,000 pages of bills for interception, analysis and legal assistance, and finally, 5,000 pages with apparently worthless notes from the population.

The PJ's have visited 443 homes, searched 30 square kilometres with two helicopters, four ships and jeeps. The laboratories examed 257 hairs from homes and cars - this alone cost them tens of thousands of euros....."

So all this time, energy and money because a bunch of idiotic doctors decided to go off and enjoy their evenings without taking their young children with them.

They should all be totally ashamed for what they have put the Portuguese Justicia through instead of constantly carping about them.

And how much searching did the McCanns and their pals do that night - sweet F all it appears!

Couple resembled Gerry, Murat and Payne Correio da Manhã

New lead: Spanish lawyer threatens with popular action

Manuela Teixeira
02 September 2008 - 00h30
Thanks to 'astro' for translation

The Spanish lawyer, who has now revealed a new lead concerning the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, advances further details about the couple that accompanied a little English girl that resembled Maddie, on the 18th of January, in Santander.

Contacted by CM, Manuel Maysounave says that the woman who he saw at the bus station 'resembled Gerry, Madeleine's father'. The lawyer states that it was only after he studied more closely some photographs of the persons involved in the process that he managed to recognise the face of Gerry McCann in that woman. 'I think it could be a relative of his. Despite using sunglasses, she strongly resembled Gerry', said Maysounave.

Concerning the man, aged around 50, the Spaniard says that 'it could be Robert Murat or David Payne, the McCanns' friend', who was on holiday with the couple in Praia da Luz and whose involvement was considered suspicious at various moments of the process. Despite the fact that both men are very different, physically, the lawyer insists that it could be one of them, 'maybe with a changed appearance'.

This is the information that Manuel Maysounave wants to report to the process, and if he is not summoned to give a deposition, he even admits the possibility of advancing a popular judicial action. 'I didn't say this earlier because I didn't want to disturb', argues the lawyer, who now makes an appeal, by letter to the instruction judge at the Portimão Court to reopen the Maddie process.

18th of January

Missing for 260 days – Maddie had been missing for 260 days when the Spanish lawyer says that he saw the little girl.

Judicial secrecy – On the day before, it had been revealed that the process would remain covered by the judicial secrecy until September.

Mari Luz – The disappearance of the Spanish girl was the target of the media.

Kate phones – The Mari Luz case enlivened the Maddie case. Kate McCann phoned the parents of the Spanish child.

http://www.mccannfiles.com/id79.html
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, now I think Gerry should sue. A woman resembles him? I think that's more than enough to sue, really. LOL
If this was a soap opera, it wouldn't have more twists and turns. Personally, I think it is very interesting that this Spanish citizen has waited 8 months (please man, if you want to be taken seriously you should have kept the 8 month thing to yourself, coño!) to say he saw the most wanted girl in the world, especially now, that Mr Amaral is where? That's it! In SPAIN, where his book will be for sale on the 9th. Metodo 3 is still employed by the McCanns, right?
But hey, hermano, if your goal is to reopen the thing, go ahead. I'm with you, man.

I am not sure what this is all about or the insinuation of the lawyer. Is he another bogus sighting with legal credentials or is he suggesting that the clan really have Madeline hidden, him allegedly having spotted a female
relative of McCann with Payne or Murat??? What is it all about?

I was just reading a thread on 3A’s (Kerry) a poster there explains what Kate did with her time the days following her daughters disappearance. At the end of her explanation she says Fiona Payne said.
“She did, however, spend quite a lot of time examining the twins to see if they were still breathing".
If Payne did say this and KM did do this it is highly significant. Ask yourself if your daughter was missing and you thought she had been abducted would you keep checking to see if your remaining children were still breathing. I don’t think you would you would be hyper anxious about their whereabouts if they were out of your sight yes but checking their breathing you would only do this if……………. I’ll let you fill in the blanks.
I cannot find this quote does anyone know if this quote from Fiona Payne is correct?

I read the same quote but can't remember its original source.

It struck me at the time that it was an after sedation check. However it did not prove who did the sedating as the McCanns have claimed it could have been done by 'the abductor".

I don't believe there was an abductor but I am not a member of a jury or likely to be.

Just when I began to believe that Madeleine was alive and well at 5.00pm on 3rd May 07 I read the statement below from Catriona Baker. It seems vague and no mention of the tennis lesson. I now begin to doubt where M was on the afternoon of 3rd May.

Statements from Catriona Baker

At Leicestershire Police, April 14, 2008 (resume):

Went to Portugal on March 2006 (yes, 2006 – I presume “2006” it's a typo error... may be..) worked at Ocean Club Village, than changed to Mark Warner's Ocean Club, on June 2006. There are seven “Kids Clubs”, at Ocean Club, according to the children's ages, and about 16 nannies. She was living at a home within a 10 minutes walk from Ocean Club. Met Gerry and Kate in the morning of April 29, 2007, first time they took the children to the crèches Madeleine McCann was put under her responsibility, in the “Minis Club”, with Ella, Jane Tanner's daughter.

The McCann daily routine: Kate and Gerry took Madeleine to the crèche every morning, came back at lunch time, and after “high tea”. She met Gerry more times, because he went to take Madeleine more frequently than Kate.

On May 3, 2007 she remembers that Gerry McCann took Madeleine to the crèche, between 9:15/9:20 am. She doesn't remember who took Madeleine out from the “Minis Club”, for lunch, that day. Around 2:45 pm, Madeleine went back from lunch, but Catriona doesn't remember who took her to the crèche. In the afternoon, the children went swimming. Between 3:35/6:00 pm, May 3, Kate went to the area near Tapas Bar, and she took Madeleine with her. Kate was using a sporting outfit and Catriona thought she has been jogging. She believes Gerry was playing tennis.

After her shift finished she went home. Around 10:30/10:35 pm, May 3, two room-mates came and told her that Madeleine was missing. She went out and helped in the searches, around the resort and into the beach. She didn't saw Gerry and Kate, on that night.

Mark Warner has a rule concerning the children’s crèches: there is a registration sheet and the parents must sign it, when they leave and they take the children. Only parents can take the children, unless there is a previous communication that another identified person will do it. Thursday morning, May 3, all the children of the “Minis Club” went to the beach.

Mark Warner transferred Catriona Baker from Ocean Club to other country (to the Greek resort of San Agostino, according to the Daily Mail) one week after Madeleine disappeared (24 hours after PJ interviewed her, on May 5th, according to the Daily Mail...) on May 13, 2007. She never noticed nothing strange about Madeleine's behaviour or in the relation she had with her parents, they looked a very happy family.

At PJ, May 5, 2007 (resume):

She is in Portugal since March 21, 2007, and her contract with Mark Warner finishes at November 7, and she is planning to go back to UK. The Ocean Club has four children's care centres, divided by age. Each nanny has around seven children under its responsibility. Met the McCann on April 29, 2007, and Madeleine was at the crèche every day, until May 3, 2007. It was always the parents who went to the “Minis Club” to bring in and take out Madeleine.

Daily Mail (October, 14, 2007): “Revealed: The nanny who could help clear the McCanns' name”

Claudia/Joe,

Santander – the reason I mentioned the banking name is this lawyer must surely think there’s money to be made and, to me anyway, it seems a bit of a coincidence that he should make a sighting of Gerry and Madeleine in a place called Santander – I linked the place and the bank. Besides seeing Gerry dressed as a woman with Madeleine - he is also seeing £££’s or should that be €€€’s no doubt. lol

Doc mate, depends on your view of the world and your situation right now on whether losing a child early on is a 'devastating' moment. I prefer to think of the Karma or Ether that surrounds such a potential loss and only you and your wife will know what that is or was. Either way dude it was not meant to be and thus we move on in this journey of life. As Madeleine found there are few guarantees in a life on this planet are there mate.

Firmes y Dignos means strength and honour by the wayHow about getting a bit of Pete Seegers in the background to get that rugged smile back on your face.

Good evening, Southerncross.
Sometimes when I read you I can identify sounds which resemble German ou Dutch. It's interesting. As I'm sure you know, many Dutch people master German quite well. But few German people understand Dutch. I can only detect sounds and understand isolated words. :-)

Claudia, I am sure the Dutch and German rootwords(if I may call it that) stands out.
So sorry, I sometimes find it hard to use an English word that specifically describes what I want to
express.
Irina, what a lovely last sentence!

Cláudia said...

Southerncross, don't apologise. I love languages. If I suddenly became really rich and could stop working, I would dedicate myself to learning as many languages as I could. I speak Portuguese, English and German. I understand Spanish quite well but do not speak it or write it (at least correctly). I am able to read French articles and get the main aspects of it and I can also hear it and pick up some stuff. Don't speak it or write it. I would love to speak and write Italian. One of the most beautiful languages in the world, IMO. All of this to say that I like it when you don't use English. It's fun to try and detect sounds and words I'm more familiar with.

About the case, I am trying to analyze and understand the information that is coming out now. I should admit that this information (from the files) does not answer my questions, or fit in the common sense imagination about police work. If I would be half professional, I would have more curiosity than Portuguese and UK police showed (AS IT BEEN REFLECTED IN FILES). Even as an ordinary human being (not professional) I would have put more effort, interest and devotion.
So I conclude:
Either we (journalists and public) were not sown the X-files, or international law enforcement demonstrated complete impotency in the face of political lobby.
Portuguese police, I believe, are trying the time challenge: something is bound to give.
UK, I think is praying for Brown collapse.
But I am more concern at the moment with dear docmac and his wife.
P.S. Thank you viv for your posts.

It would now appear that Christopher Foster shot the family pets and then went onto shoot his wife and daughter before torching the house and committing suicide. Shortly before this happened the family were seen out and about acting as normal with seemingly not a care in the world.

It never fails to surprise me that people can cover up their most darkest thoughts and intentions to others. Imo this is a similar facade to one that was constructed by the Mcs during the T9 evening meal of 3rd May 07.

Sorry to sound a bit negative, but having seen so many politicians take centre stage all over the world, win an election and then go on to be despots, I'll reserve judgement on Obama until he proves himself - right now I would say he's best of the bunch!! To be honest though, knowing how many US Presidents have ended up with a bullet in the brain, I wouldn't want to be in his shoes if he does win!

It was my father sayng that there had been a little twist. How that little twist ended up we all know.

Hope,

I know exactly what you mean I lost my first child when I was 19 weeks pregnant, a girl. I have my unborn little girl to thank for my 3 beautiful sons and then 10 years later a beautiful daughter, I cannot imagine life without them they are my life. Although every time I had another child the reality of the grief and pain I suffered (still do now) was overwhelming. There will always be a part of me, a part of our lovely family missing but thanks to her we are the family we are. That is why I am here blogging. I lost a little girl that did not even get a chance to gasp the air that we the living do. I loved her from the moment my body told me I had life growing within me and I will love her to the end of time.

Irina's words say it all 'And I found my strength in loving the living and screaming in silence'.

Hope today is a better day for you all.

Nancy, I agree. I thought exactly the same. We all know that American presidents are always at risk. But if Obama gets elected, I think he will be the biggest target ever. How true your last paragraph in your post above!

People can act very differently in front of friends and neighbours and only show their true colours to their own families.

My mother used to call it 'hanging up your false hat when you got back indoors'.

Regarding the Foster case though, I still don't know how they have come so quicky to the decision that he killed his wife and daughter and then shot himself, unless they have found a gun with his fingerprints on it of course, but would they still be recognisable after such an inferno?

docmac said...

Thanks all. I had no idea some of you had suffered similar losses and I am so sorry.

Nancy, the police have studied the CCTV footage. It is a very sad tale.

ST, I think you should study that anonymous post you received very carefully before you make unfounded allegations about who typed it. I would never type 'humanbeing' or 'madeline' and I usually use a space after any punctuation marks, see?

Anon, I don't give a toss about what you believe. The rest of your post is unintelligible.

Bum, my wife says you are a f***ing b*tch. It's the first time I've heard her swear in many years, so she is probably just a little angry about what you have to say. I would have expected that from you though.

Cláudia said...

Doc, I don't know what any of them commented on what happened. And honestly I think I wouldn't like to read it because I think that would make me wish and feel bad things and I don't like to feel that way about other human beings because as bad as they are they have families and people who may feel some kind of affection for them. However, I have no doubt that some of them would be happy to know some of us were dead or suffered tragic losses. Certain personal traits are quite common among people who are able to defend convicted child murderers.

I do not know what they have blogged but I can image their sewer spew. They claim to care about a missing child! It is patently obvious they are insanely jealous of you, your life and your achievements. All they have to look up to or show for in their sad existence is two child neglector's who systematically neglected their children and as a result one has vanished into thin air. The child neglector's are more than happy to be described by the UK Press/Media as handsome, beautiful and one emininent in the field they work, yet they never correct those wrong descriptions. They are shallow people, surrounded by shallow people who live shallow lives.

I see the full article from ‘Focus’ has now been posted on Joanna Morais’s blog. I am surprised to see so many people in Britain think the McCanns are involved in M’s disappearance if only because of the one sided reporting by the British press – its refreshing to know most people can see through this.

At the moment there appears to be increased activity on pro Mc sites could this be the prerequisite work necessary to counter the imminent publication in Britain of Amaral’s book?
