KATE THEY PLANTED DNA;GERRY THEY LISTEN TO EVERY WORD

Reality dawns...? Kate, September 2007

Here Kate and Gerry cleary acknowledge the DNA evidence against them and confirm Police are listening to every word they say following discoveries made by the dogs, forensic experts/British and Portuguese Police in early August...absurd claims are made the abductor or should I say the evil predator who makes Gerry sick to the very core "planted" evidence..that did provoke one of my more satirical posts last night I am afraid..It is quite amazing how toned down the news is now but I did predict this as we got nearer to the McCanns being charged, we do want them to get a fair trial, in accordance with their human rights. Childrens human rights should be recognised far more than they are, they are not the possession of their parents to smack and dump, from further posts I have been reading from certain pros the last few days, this message clearly is not being put across strongly enough..Maybe at the end of all this we can collectively petition the government to do far more to publically educate parents on national TV etc about childrens rights and what constitutes being a decent parent and ..what does not! It is not a question of being "perfect" human beings are imperfect, it is about having values and respect for others. This applies in all areas of life. To some, any person that is different to them, does not deserve respect, it is very sad when they look upon children differently thinking they have the right to assault them, that attitude really does need to change. Swedishmum posted yesterday it is unlawful in Sweden, that is a law change I would personally back because it highlights to parents that it is unacceptable to bully and abuse your own children. How more fundamental issues of why some parents can only think of themselves and not their children can be resolved is another matter. Small steps, no easy or quick fixes any more than the prosecution of Kate and Gerry McCann was ever going to be quick or simple x

Portuguese police tapping McCanns' phone calls and emails
McCanns believe evidence was planted - either by police or Madeleine's abductorLast updated at 17:49pm on 11th September 2007
Comments (10) Portuguese police have been tapping Gerry and Kate McCann's mobile phone calls and hacking into their emails since early August, it has been claimed.
Under Portuguese law, police can tap phones or emails if they believe it will help solve a serious crime.
A family friend of the McCann's said: "Gerry told me police are listening to every word they say and reading every email they write."

Kate McCann is also said to believe that the DNA evidence, on which the case against the McCanns appears to hang, has been placed there in a bid to frame them for Madeleine's murder.
A source close to Kate MCCann said today: "She believes the evidence has been planted - either by the police or even by the abductor.
"Gerry's view is if it is there, it has been planted or it has been accidentally transferred there."
Portuguese prosecutors were today due to start considering thousands of pages of police evidence as they received the full file on Madeleine, and to decide whether to bring charges.
In his blog on the website www.findmadeleine.com, Mr McCann described the past few days as "unbelievably stressful and emotionally draining".

Portuguese police believe Madeleine McCann is now dead
He wrote: "The pain and turmoil we have experienced in this last week is totally beyond description.
Portuguese police declared the McCanns arguidos - or formal suspects - after a breakthrough in DNA tests conducted in Britain.
Police in Portugal now believe Mrs McCann killed Madeleine and her husband helped cover up the crime, hiding the body temporarily before disposing of it at least 25 days later using the hire car.
The McCanns say the claim is ludicrous and far-fetched and they fear they are being framed by the Policia Judiciaria.
Mrs McCann made her claim of being framed in a telephone call to a close friend after she was interrogated for 11 hours at Portimao police station on Thursday, where she was accused of killing her daughter.
The friend said: "When we spoke, the feeling was very much from her that they were being stitched up."
It is understood that the new legal team hired by the McCanns to defend them - they could face charges at any time - will scrutinise the forensic evidence and employ their own expert.
The McCanns have let it be known they are scathing about the standard of policing in Portugal, with one source suggesting that the forensics gathered could easily have been contaminated by officers inexperienced in modern policing techniques.
One source suggested that officers had failed to take the McCanns' fingerprints properly on the night Madeleine vanished and had to take them again the next day.
The officer who searched their holiday apartment in Praia da Luz wore only gloves and not the overalls which are standard practice in Britain to prevent contamination of evidence.
The McCanns could remain arguidos for up to a year, leaving them uncertain of their future.
But police could also issue arrest warrants at any time, forcing them to return to the Algarve, from where Madeleine vanished on 3 May.
The source said the McCanns were much calmer since returning home on Sunday and have regrouped to defend their reputation and continue the worldwide search for Madeleine.
"Now it has happened the way it has they are not unhappy at being home. They can return to some form of normality," said the source.
"They can get some rest and recuperation. They have easy access to lawyers and communications rather than being one stage removed in a hostile environment. They were increasingly isolated in the new villa."

Isis,

Well, the police have a note of the first timings given to them last year, and I'm sure they are waiting with baited breath to see how they've changed since then! If the Tapas Lot still give the same timings it's suspicious, because they contradicted each other. If they give different timings now, how come?

My hernia would appear to be the more common variety, I think. And it's 3cms wide!! Aren't I a clever girl? Still waiting to hear the results of the biopsy taken to see if I'm a coeliac, but I'm so relived it wasn't anything worse.

And the Omeprazole has got rid of my asthma! I'm delighted about that!

How are you, Isis?

Joe said...

We can expect the McCanns to refuse to go to PDL as it will mean they have to actually do something to help solve the case, rather that just sitting back and talking via Mr.Pink and maintaining their celebrity status.

Claudia, well I am beginning to think I am thick. If I can't work out how docmac thinks we will recognise him, or where he will be there is not much chance of me working out how an abductor climbed out of a window, carrying a child without her waking up, and did not leave a footprint, fibres etc on the window sill OR how the McCanns accidently killed their child, composed themselves to go out to dinner, and managed to dispose of her body without trace so quickly. I must be getting old, a few years ago I probably could have thought this through a lot better. Thank heavens it is not up to me to find the answers

PDL will be full to capacity with coach loads of media arriving and looking for accommodation during the reconstruction in May. It may be wishful thinking on my part but I believe the pj are using a reconstruction to lure all the key players to PDL. They are masking this fact by inviting others that were in PDL at the time of Madeleine’s disappearance but they are just window dressing. The purpose of the reconstruction is to arrest a number of people on Portuguese soil.

Kate and Gerry may not go as they will surely know the score, but Alsabella and her husband will stand in for them during the reconstruction. This will be a good ploy as the reconstruction will be more truthful than it might otherwise have been - well I can but dream.

Evening all, and hello Portugal - Claudia, and Ana :-)

Just a small detail: 'reconstructions' have taken place in the UK years after crimes, particularly serious ones like murder. Sometimes, witnesses do assist with reconstructions; it is not always the case that actors are used.

I suspect the PJ, assisted by the British Police and Interpol have more surprise announcements to make in due course.

IMO, spin cycles break down, eventually. That's a law of mechanics :-)

wizard,

News of reconstruction is CM's reaction to following - he's paid to fight damaging FACTS :
Clarification of the McCann case would have “annoying” consequences
06.04.2008, Maria José Santana
Criminal psychologist Paulo Sargento believes the disappearance of the English girl will not have an ending e says it is “impossible that it was an abduction”
06.04.2008, Maria José Santana
11 months after the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, the same doubt remains: what really happened to the English girl who was on holiday in Praia da Luz, Algarve? To criminal psychologist Paulo Sargento it’s more than certain that the answer to that question will never be known. In fact, if there was to be an ending, “it could have annoying consequences on a political level.”

Why? “It would have to be understood why was there such a big intervention of the English government and why the Portuguese government allowed it”, Paulo Sargento argued.
The criminal psychologist was in Estarreja the day before yesterday, along with Pedro Gamito, a researcher and lecturer who, in partnership with Paulo Sargento, developed a 3D application which deconstructs the abduction theory.
The simulation travelled the world, through some international tv stations, and was the subject of a talk with the students of the Escola Secundária de Estarreja [high school], at the public library.
Paulo Sargento left the conviction that the most mediatized case of the disappearance of a child “will never have a solution”, despite the fact that, “in front of the given data”, hehighligted, “it is impossible that it was an abduction”.
After proving this very theory, through the 3D simulation mentioned above, Paulo Sargento also pointed to the fact that, in a time when the end of Mari Luz case was known – the body of the Spanish girl ended up by being found recently - , Maddie’s disappearance entered “limbo”.
“Because when one of the children was found dead there was the risk of believing the other child could also be dead”, the criminal psychologist specified, after Pedro Gamito already having noticed that one of Gordon Brown’s the most recognizable spin doctors was involved in the case of Madeleine McCann’s disappearance.
As he recalled, Clarence Mitchell abandoned the post of consultant to the English Prime Minister to become the McCanns spokesperson.
Next May 3 it will have been, exactly, a year over Maddie’s disappearance, without great developments regarding the case which, Paulo Sargento noted, was already able to “weaken” the Portuguese justice.
“Portugal is going to come out really bad from all this”, the psychologist alerted, referring to the fact that the national head of the PJ had publicly admitted that there was “hastiness” in giving the McCann couple arguido status and that, consequently, the Justice minister assured there were to be “no resignations”.

What role is Clarence going to play once the arguido status is lifted from K&G? He will find it hard to justify his profitable income for much longer I'm sure. Just where are they getting the money to pay him these days because the fund must be very low right now, or have they found another lucrative sponsor? Can we expect to see the continuation of CM's 'ludicrous' 'foot in mouth'statements from Gerry - I gather that Kate is not a gregarious person so he does the talking, except perhaps when she's taking the odd glass of wine and tapas with close friends!

I think they will go back to P de L with their pals for a reunion if only to soak up the sun and have a game of tennis or two - the reconstruction will be a bit of a distraction but will give them a bit more publicity at the same time! Will Clarence, their mouthpiece, be accompanying them for a freebie holiday I wonder?

I think the PJ's know exactly what they are doing and the net is closing in!

Does anyone know if there is there any news on the questioning of JT and O'B yet?

Hello Doppelganger -

Nice to hear from you, and I echo your sentiments that, hopefully, after all this time things will start to move on. I must say I haven't been very confident of that happening lately, but I hope I'm proved wrong and that things will move on to get justice for for Madeleine!

2345 - Paulo Sargento paints a bleak picture - we can only hope that events turn out significantly different to how he sees things! What do you think about the reconstruction taking place in PdeLuz yourself? Surely the Tapas 9will do a reconstruction rehearsed down to the last minute detail!

Hi Claudia and Nancy.

I remember when the world was enthralled by the fairytale marriage of Prince Charles and 'Lady Di', and how shocked people were when the reality was printed.

I think that the sad story of Madeleine Beth McCann will expose liars, and manipulators, in due course.

BBC TV News has just reported that the McCanns and others are being asked to take part in a 're enactment' of May 3rd. Clearly, the Clarence and their lawyers are going to quibble over every syllable whilst insisting they are 'happy to assist police inquiries'.

'Actions speak louder than words' !

NB: UK Police have conducted reconstructions and re enactments years after serious crimes, so Clarence Mitchell's doubts about the 1 year gap are entirely disingenuous, to say the least.

Regarding returning to P de L for the reconstruction. I have just read one of the Google news slots -these are the words of one of her friends:-

"Kate is upset there has been no sense of concern for her feelings or the anguish it will cause her. On an emotional level she is not sure that she can go through with it"

Are they the feelings of a mother desperately searching for her daughter, or the words of someone concerned only for herself?

However, isn't it just the sort of response we have come to expect of the McCanns!

mandarinn said...

Good evening!! Any news from UK?

Niki said...

Hi Leigh/everyone!

Good to see you!

I just read this:

McCanns 'upset' by police request
Apr 8 2008

Kate McCann is "upset" at a decision by police to invite her and Gerry back to Portugal to take part in a reconstruction, a friend of the couple said.

Portuguese police have invited the McCanns to participate in a reconstruction of the night Madeleine vanished from their holiday apartment in the resort of Praia da Luz on May 3 last year.

It is not known whether friends who were on holiday with the McCanns, other holidaymakers and staff working at the resort will also be invited to take part in the reconstruction.

The friend of the McCanns said: "Kate is upset. There's been no sense of concern for her feelings or the anguish it will cause her. On an emotional level she is not sure she can go through with it."

The friend added: "The family will consider it. If it's felt that there's a chance of it helping to find Madeleine then, of course, they will do it. But given it is a year on, you have to wonder about the value of it."

Kate, 40, a GP, has not returned to work and has remained at home in Rothley, Leicestershire, since her daughter disappeared. Gerry, 39, has returned to work as a heart surgeon.

It is believed that any reconstruction would not be televised, although Clarence Mitchell, the family's spokesman, said Kate and Gerry would welcome an opportunity to take part in a televised Crimewatch reconstruction in Portugal if it helped find four-year-old Madeleine.

The couple will not be travelling back to Portugal to mark the anniversary of Madeleine's disappearance on May 3 if they remain arguidos - formal suspects.

Producers from Crimewatch had put forward a request to do a reconstruction within the first month of Madeleine's disappearance.

But it is understood that due to the secrecy of Portuguese law, this offer was turned down by police officers.

...can just see them waiting to go into the interview room, tapping their feet and whistling...

Ola Claudia and everyone

You have been doing a great job here today, Claudia, thank you!

Interesting news Kate does not want to take part in a reconstruction to try and find out what happened to her little girl. Co-operation, McCann style.

Hey, Viv!

So the McCanns want a televised 'Crimewatch' reconstruction of the events of the night of 3rd May!This couple and their puppet CM never fail to amaze me. Don't they all just love the publicity and the cameras following them round. Still I suppose the money the BBC pay them will help to pay CM's wages for a tad longer! Kate and Gerry are beginning to take over where Liz Taylor and Richard Burton left off!!

Is it just me, or has the quality of argument as to the McCanns innocence improved of late?

It's from the same nutter. A while ago I was scared. The nutter stopped posting the same post over and over again for a while and I thought it had killed itself. Than I tought again: oh well... lololol

Amazing !! Kate can travel to Washingtion a few days ago, jaunt off to Brussels tomorrow, they had planned to go to PDL on May 3rd, for the anniversary of the final days of their neglect of Madelieine, no question of her emotional state there, only now, as PJ want to reconstruct events. Not so much anguish as pure fear.IMO.

Viv,

Glad to see your site is going from strength to strength - nearly 400 posts just today.

Hope the success continues and that everyone keeps on arguing for justice for Madeleine.

I think that the news that the PJ have invited the McCann's back to Portugal is an indication that the police are not just going to drop this case. Hopefully the Tapas 9 will finally co-operate and help the PJ find out what actually happened on the night Madeleine disappeared.

Innocent people have nothing to fear from the truth.

Cláudia said...

Dolores, I think it might have something to do with the fact that in Washington and Brussels there were not and will not be police officers around to ask difficult questions...

I'm curious about the character here! What an invasion!

Are they getting nervous now that the PJ is in britain or what?

Ana said...

Oh,poor kate, she is so fragile now, maybe she is thinking in not going to Brussels tomorrow!!

Hi 2345, yes I agree CM is paid to fight damaging facts. A good example of this I just heard on the news regarding the Shannon Mathews case which originally team McCann were linked with because of the alleged abduction of Shannon. Imo due to this original association it is now being alleged that someone with a Mathew’s family connections made an aggressive approached to the Find Madeleine Fund and requested money. No money was given because the source was suspect. CM says it could well have been a journalist making this approach. By making this new association to the Mathew’s family makes the McCanns look victims. It’s subtle but the spin is there.

If the McCanns do not help with the reconstruction and they have no excuse as far as I am concerned, they can travel to Washington, Brussels, Rome etc last year and their little girl not missing but months. One would think that they want the case to remain unsolved so that they can keep going in their new roles. They do not appear hen to want closure in the form of the case being solved? what ae they afraid of going back to PDL as arguido status means nothing to them, at least Mr. Pink said so at some stage I do believe, speaking of whom maybe he can write the script and no questions.

Dop

Hope I have not missed you had a call from my daughter to pick her up and had to dash...

Always good to see you sadly until she is found I will always wonder why a 3 year old child is put below the importance of her parents.

As for assasin I suppose it thinks it is doing something to disrupt to me it shows how desprate some people are all mouth and no trousers and in the real world when face to face with abusers would not say a word or think to call someone if a child were in danger pathetic but amusing..

Hope to see you again x

Going back to PDL would be stressful for Kate its one thing to jet of to Washington, Brussels etc (reality avoidance imo) but another thing to go to PDL – PDL is where the crime was committed. Never mind what the lawyers says Gerry would not allow her to return, she might well be vulnerable at this time, coupled with the reality of the visual input from the scene of the crime could well make her crumble and tell the truth. I don’t think Gerry would allow this - the risk is to high.

I see some people can be very envious of a Portuguese young lady having all the time to be here as a tribute to a little innocent girl.

For them it must be very difficult to imagine people like you doing such a thing. It would be more normal for them imagining you adopting the Mc Cann life style.. if you know what I mean...

Wizard,
And CM,said, why a reconstruction after 12 months, when K & G called for one last May they were refused.
Is this man for real?

Hi,

Just on, haven't had time to read back too far, but Clarrie has just said on Sky News that the McCanns don't want to go back to Portugal whilst still arguidos, Clarrie said they "don't see the point in going back to Portugal to do a recontruction". WHAT? After a huge publicity plan and appeal, they don't want to participate in a simple police reconstruction? (

If they really wanted to help find Madeline, they would jump at the chance of trying to solve the crime. The problem is, they don't want Madeline's demise solved, as it will probably result in their arrest....

atardi said...

Dolores,

Well said. Your post at 18.56.
In Washington they controlled the situation, In Brussels due to their contacts they know they will control the situation.

PDL was planned for them becuase the public are expecting them to be there on the 3th of may.

But hey a reconstruction to try to "find" Madeleine is too difficult.

What a shame.

They refuse to answer questions, the leave their friends to face the music this week, its 99% certain they will not go to PDL to help what the PJ think is vital regardless of the Pink Clowns limited opinion. Anybody getting a little suspicious as to their reasons?
