Gerry McCann, as we know, loves his mobile phone and carries everywhere with him. They emit signals even when not in use, which mean a person's location can be accurately traced. Gerry is reported to have given false information as to how whereabouts in June to police who no from mobile phone information he was about 20 km away from where he said he was. You can bet Dr Rebelo did not order the above Lake to be searched for no good reason. Oh and so much for Rosiepops still bleating on they did not even do a 15 KM ring search - confirms they did, several times!

Given Gerry's removal from reality and truth, there no proof that his
public announcement of financial hardship - no pay for six months' is true. Sick notes supplied by K & G's own GPs would have been subject to patient confidentiality.
From May - September they'd hooked into the hearts of nations. People shared their distress and anxiety - the McCanns were entitled to sick leave on this basis, i.e. too emotionally wrought to deal with patients needs safely.

WE are all heartily sick of the spin from Kate and ~Gerry's media and witness manipulation. Whenever a child goes missing in highly suspicious circumstances, such as this, it is the right's of the child that matter, as you say, not parents who admit they were criminally negligent and suspected on reasonable evidence the police have gathered of being guilty of far worse than that.
The urgency is not as great in Shannon's case because sadly, they know that Madeleine is dead, but I am sure the lengthy of the investigation points to its thoroughness and the determination to successfully put this couple where they belong, in spite of all the public money they have frittered on their hopeless campaign to defend themselves.

It seems that Robert Murat has had his real state internet site invaded and unknown people have been sending suspicious emails pretending being him. The pirates also tried to get passwords from the Internet provider.
RM also found GPS stuff under two of his cars and it seems the PJ has now taken the cars to check them as PJ denies to have anything to do with the GPS stuff.
It seems to me that someone or several people are indeed trying to frame RM and I cannot believe one second PJ would ever did such a thing. PJ do not frame people.
Therefore I am astonished by the stupidity of those who could believe that framing the PJ is possible. If what Correio says is true, RM did the very right thing in handing the whole matter to the Portuguese Police. One would expect innocent people to act thus, IMHO.

I read the CDM piece earlier today. It IS scary. My dirst thoughts were, don't the McCanns have their "Internet Expert" squad, i.e. The Boy Callum, but then I thought, nah, they would have trouble hacking into a wet paper bag never mind a website. M3, however, would have "contacts". Big-money crime nowadays is computerised. Millions can be stolen or laundered, globally,at the touch of a button. The days of holding up mail trains have gone; real criminals are cybercriminals who can operate anonymously, in nanoseconds, and then disappear again, leaving no trace. Hacking a website would be childs play for these guys.
Atardi, deleted texts can be traced. A copy would remain on the mobile phone provider's server. Likewise, wiped hard drives can still be read, unless special "shredding" software is used. Everything leaves a cyber-fingerprint of some sort.
Leigh, I believe I am being targetted because some people are afraid of what they think I might know about the McCanns. So they are trying to scare me off. It won't work. They tried the same stunt with Doc and they have not shut him up either.

Banks and Building Societies do not repossess houses after two months missed mortages - especially given the circumstances. Can you just imagine the publicity? Repossession is an absolute last resort and is a process that takes many, many months. Having to raid the fund for 2 months payments, in case they "lose their home", does not ring true.

I do not have a belief in anything ~Gerry says as true. I simply do not believe he allowed Kate to go to a doctor and start claiming sick pay and he would not even think there was anything wrong with him, let alone go to a doctor. He preferred to live off his ill gotten gains.
I have no doubt that Leicester Police have investigated his bank accounts. This type of offender is also often involved in fraud - it goes with the MO! As you know I even find it possible Madeleine's death could have been planned, although, unlikely. I think she died during the afternoon/early evening and it may have been Kate under pressure but equally could have been him because he can be violent, aggressive and controlling IMO. In fact the very fibre of his being is to manipulate and control everthing and everyone, including his wife, to his best advantage which could clearly include dropping her right in it when the chips are down

Robert Murat was subject to surveillance defeat in recent months. The English, resident of Light and accused in the investigation of the disappearance Madeleine McCann, location of GPS devices found pasted on a disguised in two of its cars. And the page on the internet where it is housed its property online was pirated. The e-mail has been diverted to another address and comprometedoras messages were sent on their behalf.

The computer intrusion was detected by Murat near Christmas. Sergey Malinka, friend and computer also resident in the Light, a surprising telephoned the received message asking you to combine a conversation confidential. Murat had not sent the e-mail. In the initial phase of research to the case Maddie, PJ came to investigate and apprehend him Malinka hardware, but the Russian citizen was not made accused.
Before this revelation, Robert Murat made another discovery of invasion of their privacy. One day wanted to repair a malfunctioning pump in the water from their truck Volkswagen Transporter of green. He put up under the car and found a strange device affixed to structure. Guardou Liliana house on the ground of the truck and Skoda Fabia, lent to his partner Michaela Walczuch, which also was parked outside. Found that at the bottom of the Skoda was also pasted a device identical.
The Judiciary Police was called and collected the cars of the two GPS location. When the CM found, inspectors assured nothing have to do with the equipment. Their is not a great deal of equity in the McCanns property which would also influence their decision, legal costs of possession proceedings get added on to the debt and once a huge mortgage goes into arrears what equity there is can quickly disappear, hence banks will act quickly. I have now had chance to read the Correio article.
It seems to be the Metodos have been giving him a lot of attention, fitting fairly cheap tracking devicees to two vehicles owned by him and used by him and Michaela. Also they have hacked into their jointly owned website and tried to divert emails etc.
This is typically the work of a bunch of hacks, trying to fit someone up for their clients. Obviously, in spite of this unlawful activity, they have not found anything on either of them because we can rest assured Clarence would have told us!
It sounds to me like PJ should now take action against Metodo 3, if they can prove it was their handiwork.
The foul conduct of the McCann machine seems to know no bounds. Murat and Michaela not only have the loss of computers which should have been returned in January but also their website hacked. They have clearly suffered considerable financial loss and will no doubt be looking to take action against the McCanns and their agents for recompense - leastways I would if it was me!
I see it states that Murat's time is up in April so hopefully he will get released then and get his stuff back. In the McCanns case secrecy of justice is extended until at least September. So perhaps the end of the process is planned for then, but who knows this is obviously an intensely detailed and complex investigation going way beyond the original offence.

In their true low class and tasteless way they have been cracking jokes about it ever since, stating how they had to sit on a rubber ring today and have been cruising the M1 etc. They are such a crude little bunch. Two points make me 'lost it': Father Pacheco, and the Fund. I can be reasonable in all other aspects, although I disagree with McCann mechanics. They are doing a job. McCanns et al have a right to a defence in our democracy, in our law.
It is the manipulation of innocents which trips my wire, so to speak, and I am glad that life's a team effort; people like you, Rat, and others, give us the benefit of your expertise, and 'cause for pause'.

It was the July and August repayments that were made from the fund, if I recall, so that was done to avert possession proceedings, I believe. I recall there was a meeting of the directors, Gerry's belief having been announced that it was OK to use the funds for such purposes and to defend them against criminal allegations. the directors announced this would not be allowed and further announced that now they were arguidos it would not be right to make any further mortgage payments from the fund. Gerry announced in August he was in a rush to get back to work ...realising he could not continue to just spend the public's money on his bills etc. He better get back and go and earn some!

It was amusing on the DE when I went back as Felicity and there were so many nice comments (and nasty ones) about Viv, wishing she was back etc - and I was! I recall that vile Davelidl storming in one night and accusing poor Felicity of being Viv :-)
I actually think some of the House of Ill Repute are just there because they like to be downright nasty. Mum21 and Rosiepops in particular seem like clear racists to me from the comments I have read and have also used this, I feel, to pursue a xeonophobia agenda. I reckon they are members of the BNP. A read of other forums on the ~DE not at all connected to the Maddie case confirm they post on there and the DE clearly encourage this by some of the horrible articles they print using race or religion in the main headline, clearly trying to provoke hostility to "immigrants" "Muslims" etc. Likewise, the Daily Mail. I do not think this is truly representative of the educated middle classes...more those who think they are middle class because they have a huge mortgage and nice car!

I think the problem is the law has to be clear and precise so that people know exactly where they stand if they break it and prosecutors do not have an uphill battle trying to prove that they did.
Telling lies on a blog and seeking to manipulate people is more a question of immoral behaviour. Only when it can clearly be linked to a criminal offence can the person actually be prosecuted under criminal law for it.
For example a conman is manipulative, when he actually uses that manipulative behaviour to defraud money out of someone, then he has broken the criminal law. When he just goes around telling lies, but not actually defrauding anyone, he is just being his usual immoral self. I am sure you can liken this to Gerry McCann!

I think what I am trying to say are the specific offences that Gerry McCann may be charged with include seeking to pervert the course of justice and defrauding the public. The lies on the blog and manipulative behaviour are not the offences, they are the evidence that will be used against him to prove the offences. Any suspect who continues to defraud the public and seek to pervert the course of justice, whilst already an arguido for very serious offences, as Gerry McCann is, is an utter fool.

Though her mother is genuinely happy, she has to sort out something in her and children lives and she would need help.
6 children are a big lot to handle; I think the mother is looking for a man's shoulder, which is not always the best.
This family needs help. Big business people, where are you? Pope (they are Catholics I think), where are you? UK Gov, where are you?
Back to PJ, what a difficult task they have: they need to shake off all McCann's spies (PIs), who I am sure have, a task to watch T9 and other witnesses. They need to conduct questioning as secret as possible and watch that witnesses will not communicate to Mcs. I guess UK police will need a substantial force (costing taxpayers) to do it.

I am wondering whether Shannon DID run away to another family member she knew, because she wanted a bit of attention and decided to give everyone a scare. I remember that I could be a manipulative little brat at age 9!!! I am glad she is home but if she were mine I wouldn't know whether to hug her or skelp her! I suppose we'll find out eventually.

Good to hear from you. I liked your post about the difficulties facing Shannon and her family and how much help they need to try and resolve the issues. Maybe the McCanns demonstrate that money is no help it is practical human interventions that are going to help here. For the McCanns it seems too late, and in they are in their own cycle of self-preservation, showing little concern for anyone else. It is not too late for Shannon's family and I am sure SSD and other professionals with work very carefully with them to resolve the issues.
I cannot imagine how difficult it must be to care for so many children, with little money and all the streses and strains of life. I know from my own experience bringing up three boys was really hard but rewarding work. When families need extra help, for the sake of the children, let us hope they get it. It is sometimes a shame that something disastrous has to happen beforehand though. I suppoose there is a difficulty balancing act between interfering in families on the one hand to provide them with positive help and support and becoming overly intrusive on the other. Either way, somehow that balance does need to be struck if more children are to be protected from serious harm, when it is still a risk, rather than when, as in the McCann it actually happens and it is all too late. We should also be aware that no matter what class, there are always problem families. Assumptions by professionals that children are OK because their mum and dad are doctors is a dangerous assumption to make.

I think I can speak for everyone posting when saying we have been badly shocked by Madeleine's case and the conduct of her parents in general.
We are a strong voice for her and will continue to be. Our views do come to the attention of the powers that be. You can rest assured of that. I believe that may have been influential in the government affording greater co-operation to the Portuguese authorities. That is a very important step in achieving:

It is also important that we oppose their manipulation of the media and help people to see the truth for themselves, for all little children who suffer abuse, we must learn more and understand how we can protect them from harm and what the risks truly are.

We'll have to agree to disagree on the no income for six months issue. I firmly believe that given the extraordinarily distressful situation, NHS cohorts would have ensured the McCanns received full sick pay. It was not in the patients' bests interests to have either of their working in NHS in their state of anxiety. Their circumstances bore no reflection of mental health issues, nor would they have needed to have been avoided at this stage - prior to them being named' arguios'.
The fact that Gerry took Fund money for mortgage does not convince me otherwise; money is his God and he'll do and say anything to line his pockets. I believe him capable of dipping into the Fund even though on full NHS pay.
We'll never know - the answer lies on NHS pay records. Our differences of opinion on this did make me wonder whether our Police have been monitoring their financial activities; serious issue of fraud's been running alongside the death and disappearance. The fiasco, including political intrigue, has all the makings of a blockbuster movie, don't you think ?
