I do not know what others think but the one child in the pushchair does not look like Sean or Amelie and I cannot imagine why Kate is fiddling with the hair of the sleeping child, other than her picture was being taken? Does anyone know who this child is?In the video below from BBC news it is confirmed the PJ will arrive next Monday and will sit in on interviews to commence on Tuesday. Not just the TAPAS 7 will be "quizzed again" but also relatives and advisers who were with the McCanns in PDL at the time will also be interviewed. This is therefore a major evidence gathering exercise and it is understood even Dr Rebelo will be among the small group of detectives who come to the UK.
It states the McCanns friends gave the police a timeline of events and now the police want to go over that evidence again.
Jane Tanner is stated to be a key witness who needs to be re-interviewed and the video has a short clip of her remarks from Panorama included.
It stresses that at this stage there are no plans to re-interview Kate and Gerry McCann but they do of course remain Arguidos FOLLOWING RECOVERY OF FORENSIC SAMPLES FROM THEIR HIRE CAR AND APARTMENT AFTER MADELEINE'S DISAPPEARANCE. Significantly, also, no mention is made of Murat, whatsoever.
So everything the Mechanics have been telling us is false. WE will all recall ~Rosiepops insisting the PJ are not coming back, there is no forensic evidence and Murat she insisted should be re-interviewed with endless writing on her blog of his "guilt". I wish Mr Murat a lot of nice compensation money for their wicked libel against him perpetuating the lies of the McCanns friends about him.
As the article dated January from the Daily Express below confirms the McCanns have been expecting this and feel they will be charged. Well at least I agree with them about that!

In the light of the Mc’s on off love affair with the media I was just considering whether this photo was an early PR stunt. The rationale being “We must be innocent because who in their right minds would let us take their child out if we killed our own daughter.”
Although at this stage they were not arguidos they know what really happened, therefore, they may well have felt an innocent persona needed to be placed into the public domain asap. The media manipulation was in full swing quite early on - it makes me wonder if this is yet another example of it? Imo it was.

* Who by? (and if murdered, what was the motive?)
* If only one parent is responsible (for either an accidental death or murder), do you think the other parent nevertheless knows about it and is covering? Or do you think only one parent actually knows about it? And if the latter, is the other parent at least suspicious, or are they completely unaware of what really happened?

I think the PJ's have done a marvellous job in every respect since Madeleine disappeared. However, we all know that however well police in any country do their job if there is government interference they sometimes work with their hands tied behind their backs.
I do think it was a mistake allowing the McCanns to fly home to Britain after they had been made arguidos though because they and their tapas friends have definitely found a safe haven in the UK and, up to now, seem to be untouchables!
However, let's not be too pessimistic - not long to wait now before something hopefully moves in the right direction.

You are right about that - the times when we were on the DX blog I asked for an explanation from them as to how an abduction could have taken place, bearing in mind the supposedly frequent visits to check on the children and it was always avoided and they never did give me a proper response.

The parents of Madeleine McCann could be given access to the Portuguese police's files on them within a fortnight, one of their lawyers has said.
Rogerio Alves said the police case against the McCanns could be made public on April 14, when the official secrecy period covering the hunt for the missing girl comes to an end.
The Portuguese lawyer said this period could only be extended in major inquiries, such as those involving terrorism and organised crime.
Portuguese detectives will travel to the UK on Monday to spend the week re-interviewing the seven friends on holiday with the McCanns when Madeleine went missing.
Kate and Gerry McCann, from Rothley, Leicestershire, remain formal suspects in the case but have not been charged and deny all wrongdoing.
Clarence Mitchell, the couple's spokesman, welcomed the lawyer's comments and called for the "arguido" status to be lifted.
Mr Mitchell said: "We would hope that the police will do the decent and proper thing and open up the files.
"I would go further than that, and say once they have completed the interviews with the the friends, they should go back to Portugal and assess the evidence and eliminate Kate and Gerry and allow everyone once again to concentrate on the search for Madeleine."

The reason my clock still says "4" is because daylight savings has been unexpectedly extended in NSW for one week. Most people's clocks haven't been changed over! My computer clock has changed but the time setting on my broadband box (the one I looked at to get the time) is still on the old time.

Well, I don't like to go into too much detail over the net, but I have flexible working hours and am some days able to work around school hours. And you see, hubby will be home today at 4pm to mind the littl'n, which means mum can get some sleep.
But I'd rather not say what our occupations are (and if any pro's are reading this, no, we are not prostitutes, factory workers, busker's, criminals, or any other mean-spirited things you may think of!).

Actually I translated it wrong yesterday. We went to a nursing home.
So there were young people also.
Like people with loss of speach/aphasia,people in a rolling chair after an severe accident who are learning to rehabiliate again. It's too much to mention.
But it was a big succes. And at the same time very sad. Because I realised that I could be there also after an accident. Some people are there because they fell of a stair.
I'm so proud of my pupils. They did a very great job today.
They paid attention to people who are forgotten every single day by the society.

The ongoing investigation will determine the answer, however long it takes, and no matter what nauseating, self serving, sacchrine tripe we must hear from poor Madeleine's absent family: largely absent during her life, and largely absent in the physical search for her after her 'disappearance'.

I do not think that can be right.
In all manner of court proceedings you get witnesses and the criminals themselves telling a pack of lies.
The aim of the prosecuting barrister is to damage their credibility and show those lies. If they were only allowed to present the first pack of lies Jane Tanner told, that would be tieing their hands behind their back. No, a court can hear all the evidence not just the first bit. They will be presented with a sequence of lies and how they changed tack over time trying to improve upon their lies as the evidence against them unfolded.
An example of this will be Gerry getting stuck on his mobile for two hours instead of looking for Madeleine telling friends and family how the shutters got damaged and the window got jemmied. Then Martin Warner announced that was false so the next week he says ah well actually we left the door open. The court will be treated to all of these pathetic lies and can form a view about them. Taken with all the other evidence I am sure they will come to the obvious conclusion and let us be clear, contrary to what the Pros may try to insist, as the BBC video above confirms there is forensic evidence of Madeleine being dead in both the hire car and the apartment. Now how do they lie their way out of that one!

Well yes this is how it gets played out in court. Lies are the most damning evidence against a person. Innocent people have no need to do this. PJs will also give evidence of their failure to co-operate whilst at the same time vainly seeking to insist some fantasy paedophile got in without leaving any forensic trace ..which given the advanced state of forensic examination is quite simply impossible. Even gloves leaves marks and DNA..if someone climbed through a window there is forensic evidence of this. Scrapes in the lichen, minute fibres from clothing, flakes of skin etc. It was not there!
Lizzy, whatever happens, one thing is for sure: people cannot escape themselves. And sometimes that is punishment enough. Time will tell.

There is no distinction to be drawn between him telling it to his relatives and friends or the police. The relatives and friends are all going to be interviewed in the UK and the friends and relatives gave interviews to the newspapers reporting this. That is evidence, which will be used in court against them to demonstrate that he lied about a serious issue going to the heart of the case, there was no abductor, he was deliberately lieing. Never mind what people say, they are going to be charged and they are going to be convicted.

That is what has always been very important to me in the McCanns being convicted for neglect and far worse. To protect other children.
As you say if they had got away with it, other parents would think, it is OK, to leave tiny tots home alone. Worse still other parents may think it is OK to go and do what the McCanns did and dispose of little Madeleine altogether. This just cannot be allowed to happen.
That vile Clarence Mitchell has a lot to answer for in suggesting it is the British way. Just how dare he tell parents, the world, that is what we do and that its fine.
Not every parent has the intellect to know right from wrong. There is clearly the danger that if the message gets out it is OK for doctors to behave like this, lesser educated folk may think the same. We must make sure people do not think this, or think they will not face justice if they do.

Sorry to say that I'm daily confronted to the cruel cynisim of the world. I had a very hard day today sendingone of my pupils back home to change her clothes. She appeared with (very) dirthy clothes. Wish you could understand Dutch to give you the details.
I asked her if I could speak her in private for 5 minutes. I ask her to go to home and change her clothes.
She told me that she had nothing clean left at home!
It was a very hard decision. But I had to send her back. Beacuse her clothes were so dirty that even the people there were commenting on it.
So you have parents who don't care to go for a meal/drink and leav ethe children aloneAnd you have parents who don't care how their children go to school.
After I told her that she even couldn't go to school with her dirty clothes. I had to cry. Because she is a lovely pupil who is being teased for years.

How very sad that the poor little girl had no clean clothes. How very sad that you were put in the heart breaking position of sending her home. It was a lose lose situation, it seems to me.
Neglect of any kind is heart breaking to kind souls. In English schools, we have something called 'opulent neglect': wealthy parents buying things for their children, but not spending time with them.
Emotional neglect. Material neglect. Physical neglect. It's all damaging to children, but fortunately children may find strangers who care deeply for them, and try to right the wrongs. It can never make up for family neglect, but perhaps it can give the child something to aim for, a chance to live up to something; some self-esteem.
Atardi: you can't save every child. You can only try to do the right thing for the right reasons, in my humble opinion.
One child is every child. One adult can made a difference.

People like this would not see anything even if they did look into the Mirror because they have no insight into how sick they are.
You cannot reason with this person. It just becomes more obsessive, angry and abusive.
That is one of the drawbacks of the internet, it does attract perverts because they can hide away and practice their sick behaviour, but they can be caught and often are. Troll should bear this in mind. They are many sick sex offenders and stalkers in prison who got a knock on their door whilst they were on their computer being sick and evil.
I have supervised such offenders when I used to work as a probation officer. The most difficult work with them is getting them to stop thinking the person they stalked was to blame. To stop seeing themselves as the victim..I am afraid they do.
Gerry McCann only goes on about his own suffering, rarely remembering to even mention Madeleine. He is typical of this type of person and those with a similar nature will spring to his defence. Fortunately there are far more normal people about.

And get real phone the parents? Any parent that sends their child to school in dirty clothes and the child has nothing to change into is not a caring parent and would more than likely tell the school where to go.
